The Catholic right is pro-Israel. America’s online converts are the exception. From Budapest to Santiago, conservative Catholics stand with Israel. The cosplay converts pushing anti-Zionism don’t represent them — and didn’t get their cues from Rome.

Alrighty, then...

Why are there only 2 possibilities. Pro or Anti? How about just the reality that the entire problem in the Middle East is aggression, and the fear of it? Find the aggressors, and make them stand down. That is the way to peace, I mean if the Zionists want peace.

So where does it actually come from? I do not use the phrase lightly: Islamist psy-op.

Uh-huh. Sure.

Most of America is not constantly online.

Recently, Salena Zito stated that 10-13% of Americans have an X account. Of that 13%, only a small percentage are actively online. Most people are going about their business. They do however, pay attention to the time-honored, regular things we all have to deal with. Energy prices, food prices, etc. That is one of the reasons I was confident President Trump would win three times. The democRAT polls are meaningless. They either purposely skew the results, or rig it some other way.

We still have to be eternally vigilant. President Trump is playing the long game with Iran, Venezuela, Cuba
He is also putting our so-called allies on notice. NATO appears to sometimes be a joke, or worse. The European Union is not united. Even the unelected EU tyrants in Brussels are seeing the writing on the wall. Perhaps President Trump should create an Abraham Accords for Europe. Individual agreements/deals with one country after another. It would drive the Euroweenie Socialists crazy.

YES! We are!

Part of the problem is the understanding of the term "Zionism".

That is the call for Jewish people to return to the state of Israel.

Some want to pretend that includes the building of the "Third Temple".

It does NOT!

Christ is the Third Temple as He is the perfect Sacrifice. Therefore, no need for the Temple or further Sacrifice.

“The Catholic right is pro-Israel. America’s ‘online converts’ are the exception”. Never had a problem with a Jewish person...far as I know they never had a problem with me.

Catholics who know the faith and are not swayed, or swayable, can be friends of the country the world knows as Israel, and its people, without swooning over them, biblically or otherwise.

Senator Cruz and Ambassador Huckabee, among other significant national figures, need to use this time to educate themselves.

Why are there only 2 possibilities. Pro or Anti?

People try to shut down debate by limiting it to those two possibilities

The logical foundations of the possibilities are more nuanced.

  1. Pro-Israel because you believe that Scripture demands it.
  2. Pro-Israel but you don't believe that Scripture demands it.
  3. Anti-Israel out of anti-Semitism
  4. Anti-Israel but not anti-Semitic

Feel free to add to the list.

That is my understanding. I am also pro-Israel for so many reasons, but I am not a Zionist.

“... and so, if you come to Palestine and settle your people there, we will have churches and priests ready to baptize you.”

This, the Jewish people of today should be looked at as any other Non- Christian group of people. I think one of the most hateful things that modernistic heretics do is refuse to evangelize the Jewish people. The Jewish religion of today is not the Jewish religion of Abraham or Moses or the Maccabees.

And one should never conflate disagreement with the state of Israel as a type of racism against the Jewish Faith. Nor should one single out Israel for special disapproval. They should be treated as any other secular or non-christian nation state.

Let's ask this guy the meaning of Christmas, while we're at it ...

"Yah gonna put a lump 'a coal in a kid's stocking 'cause he's got insomnia, Santa?"

""Yaroslav Mar" at The Times of Israel is going to write a piece on what the "Catholic Right" thinks."

He's not telling you what the Catholic 'Right' thinks. He's telling you how Catholics should think.

He's like Mark Levin. 'REAL MAGA supports Israel!'

You're real MAGA, aren't you?

Now you go and believe what you're told.

Yes, Yaroslav Mar, another propagandist, using the Fallacy of Either/Or Reasoning also known as False Dilemma, All or Nothing Thinking, False Dichotomy, Black/White Fallacy, and False Binary.

He's also propagandizing with 'No True Scotsman', claiming that in order to be Catholic and "Right Wing" (as if there's a left wing), you must be pro-Israel.

I seem to recall a man in history, Mr. Goebbels, who was vilified for pro and anti propaganda involving a group of certain people.
