Iran issues evacuation notice for Doha

Iran on Saturday issued an unusual evacuation warning to residents of Doha, Qatar, calling on them to leave the city immediately.

According to the notice, due to the deployment of American forces and assets and incitement against it, the area has become a legitimate target, and it places responsibility on the leadership of Qatar.

Later, Iranian TV denied the reports, saying that no official evacuation announcement had been issued for Doha.

Earlier this month, Iran came under fire for attacking Doha without warning. The strikes had targeted locations associated with the United States military presence in the region.

Here is what I pinged on a previous post: The USS Tripoli will arrive tomorrow, if it is not there already, and offer the first use of the “Iron Dome” system for missile defense. This is a strategic shift for patrolling the Strait and Persian Gulf. Also, the Tripoli is transporting the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), and about 3000 Marines are either there or about to be there. I believe the mission has changed and they will attack the Greater Tunb Island, where Iran is directing all of the their Persian Gulf attacks with Fast Boats, Drones, and Missiles. It has not been attacked so far because the UAE Claims ownership and asked the US to not bomb it. However, things have changed since Iran launched more than 2000 missiles and drones against the UAE, and the UAE has closed the Iranian Embassy and broken off diplomatic relations. I suspect that when you see the Americans bombing massively on the two Islands Great and Less Tunbs, then the Marines will secure those two Islands. Checkmate! The Strait will reopen sooner than expected. Everything else is diversion.

I don’t know why they would need boots on the ground to destroy those bases. There are already reports of warthogs jets and apache helicopters working over these islands.

Iran just landed a missile on Dimona, near the Israeli Reactors, and casualties are listed at at least 100. Nothing will piss off the Israelis (and the US) more than killing Civilians. The gloves will come off, so I suspect that troops will start on the islands if Iran doesn’t surrender. Since Iran’s ICBMs can reach all of Europe, and they are saying they have nukes, Europe will show a bit more urgency in the next few days.

I think there is a big chance this is a fake or planted story, or otherwise bad information. Why? Because many evacuation orders have been issued and each time it is not an entire city, let alone a capital. For example they gave evacuation order for specific refineries in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia,.after their biggest refinery was hit. It’s just totally inconsist with everything so far.

I think the government of qatar is correct, and no official evac order was issued for the entire capital city of doha.

These spurious occurrences are likely one-offs by people with access to weapons, but no official signal having been given to use them. They know they are dead men walking, so what do they have to lose to go out swinging?

I think they were aiming for the Dimona reactor, and got civilians instead, but they’re mafsut with that result, too.
