A crew of cargo thieves were busted with $7 million worth of name-brand goods including everything from ATVS and golf carts to top-shelf liquor and Disney apparel — as well as a cool $1 million in cash, authorities said.
Detectives with a cargo theft division of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced that its operation took place from December 2025 to February 2026.
It involved 13 search warrants in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
The items recovered included MasterCool AC units, golf carts, ATVs, Sony soundbars, LG microwaves, Canon printers, Ring cameras, Craftsman tools, Classica Cordials premium liquor and Disney clothing.
Thirty-six companies — including Amazon, Sony, LG, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Dollar General, Costco, Classica Cordials and Monster Energy — were affected by the thefts.

Also, why don't they name the suspects that were arrested?
I've noticed that over the past 20 years, this level of crime is just accepted as normal.
We used to not live like this. We don't have to now. Accepting this level of crime in our society is a decision made by our politicians, judges, and government officials.
Cargo theft?
Do they just pull up to the dock and snatch a 50-foot container?
I think at some point, society needs to go totally medieval on criminals.
We now have about 340 million Americans. That’s a lot. And, of course, many illegals who should be removed. And I would say that AI will put a lot of people out of a job. In short, we likely have “too many” people.
If people are decent and well-behaved, there should be no problem. But if people behave in an anti-social manner, I think it would be beneficial to — *ahem** — remove them. For a great many transgressions. You screwed up: it’s over for you.
Our current manner of dealing with this behavior is not working.
People who annoy you...
True.
Law abiding people observe and hope the law enforcement system and judicial system work to sequester criminals from future victims. Doesn't work.
Insert today's news incident of "judge went easy on him" "released from prison early" "had 35 prior convictions" "broke into the woman's house and raped and beat her to death."
Pretty much what the Mafia used to do in New York. With them it was hijacking 18 wheelers.
Greenland colony.
Why not randomly put TRACKERS on shipped goods that are valuable?
PROSECUTE Gavin NewSCUM as a co-conspirator.
Crime everywhere.
Meanwhile, law abiding CITIZENS work 40 to 60 hours a week just to keep food on the table. Most of our money goes to support these people and pay for their crimes.
“Regional: Former Sunnyvale Resident Indicted On Alleged Fraud Scheme Involving Medicare Programs”
“Federal prosecutors on Friday charged a former Sunnyvale resident with carrying out a large-scale fraud scheme that allegedly sought more than $90 million from Medicare Advantage programs by submitting thousands of false claims for medical equipment.
A federal grand jury indicted Anar Rustamov, 38, an Azerbaijani, on a charge of health care fraud, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California said. Authorities said Rustamov, suspected of entering the U.S. illegally, is currently at large.
According to the indictment, Rustamov used a company he created, Dublin Helping Hand, to submit claims between October 2024 and June 2025 for items such as blood glucose monitors and orthotic braces that were not provided, not medically necessary or not authorized by a provider.”
In some parts of town, bottom-shelf booze is as fancy as it gets.
