Statewide poll shows majority of would-be voters view Sen. Lindsey Graham unfavorably

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham is viewed unfavorably by 61% of voters, according to a new statewide poll conducted by Impact Research.

The poll suggested that only 34% of voters viewed him favorably, with 57% of respondents claiming they are "looking to vote for someone else."

"Senator Graham is in serious political trouble, and this poll confirms what South Carolinians already know — they're ready for change," said Dr. Annie Andrews. "I'm running because working families in this state deserve a senator who fights for them, not one who's spent decades in Washington collecting corporate checks and enriching himself while kids can't afford to see a doctor. This race is winnable, and we're going to win it."

Thank you very much and God bless you.

This is welcome news but is that a Democrat being quoted? Is it a given Graham wins his primary? Because it looks like he's in a fight for that seat and it doesn't surprise me.

She is one of at least two candidates in the Democrat primaries.

Interesting to read her webpage; very difficult to find which party she represents. Also, no real statements regarding such questions as immigration:

I’ll support immigration reform that:

Strengthens border security

Creates a fair path to citizenship for people who work hard and follow the rules

Keeps families together and ensures due process

Supports South Carolina’s farms, businesses, and workforce

Sounds good but avoids all "difficult" questions about for instance illegal immigration. Not a person I would vote for - ever!

I dunno if its a given at all that Miss Lindsey will win the Republican Primary. He has 2 opponents who have a good deal of traction as I understand it. Its not just Democrats - South Carolina Republicans too want Miss Lindsey out.

Sounds terrible. All immigration needs to stop for 100 years.

They need to find a MAGA Donald Dem to run in the Dem primary.

MAGA Dem and MAGA Rep primary challenges and MAGA wins either way.

Andrews is definitely pro-amnesty therefore RINO (or is that True Republican now?). I was sickened to hear of Lindsay being left behind by Nancy's Republicans-on-board that fateful day when they all departed in unison before the citizens were let in by the Capital Police.

While BSing with a few officers Lindsay heard the commoners approaching and screeched "You have guns. Use them!" like some bloodthirsty little bitch who had so much to hide that all sense of reason left him.

President Trump must know what a craven opportunist Graham is and keeps him as a canary - the keep your enemies closer thing. Fun's been had and others golf better. Tiger's not doing much now days.

No one likes Linda, but she wins like this: SC has open primaries. Usually a good Repub or two run against her and split the vote. Linda also gets crossover votes from Dems who want Linda to stay in office rather than sending a true MAGA to DC. Linda had a scare 6 years ago and I hope she can be primaried but i doubt it. I will hold my nose and vote for her in November only because a Dem would be somewhat worse.

But will they vote for him out of habit? Will he win because he posts more yard signs? More billboards?

Not that good. He could be fighting for the seat.

Best get him out in a primary.

Here we go again. Linda has TWO viable R opponents in the primary. So the base gets split and Graham slides in the back door. This is how the rino’s survive every time

“Andrews is definitely pro-amnesty therefore RINO (or is that True Republican now?). “

Annie Andrews is no RINO.

She is the *Democrat* candidate.

Light Loafers Lindsey looks almost certain to be forced into a runoff. His two opponents (Lynch, Dans) are currently busy trying to destroy EACH OTHER in order to make it to that runoff — Graham is certain to make it that far.

At which time the backers of Lynch and Dans will likely fail to unite behind the winner, leaving a fairly easy path for Light Loafers to get the nomination again.

That’s a given.

We need to primary as many RINOs as possible.

Today is March 21. It is the first day of the fourth week of the Iran war.

South Carolina’s primary is June 9 with a possible runoff on June 26.

We have about two and a half months between now in then.

Given how vocal Lindsay Graham has advocated for going to war against Iran, he might be vulnerable if the American military is still there slugging it out on June 6.
