California Governor Gavin Newsom has been unrelenting in poking at Donald Trump on social media, and the President returned fire on Wednesday.
“Gavin Newscum’s interview weeks ago was, perhaps, the most self destructive interview I’ve ever seen,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “In one fell swoop, he took himself out of even being considered as the Presidential Nominee of the Crazy (as proven at the State of the Union Address) Democrats. He said, in a speech, he was dumb, had low Boards, can’t read, has dyslexia, and has a mental disorder — A Cognitive Mess!
“On top of that, Black People are angry because he is obviously a racist,” Trump continued. “While we all want to be politically correct, having a mental disorder is not a positive campaign event. Also, this was a politically suicidal act. The only thing he didn’t say is he is losing his look, but nobody wants to say that about one’s self. He is no longer a viable Presidential Candidate! President DJT.”
This came hours after Newsom shared a clip of Trump talking about him and wrote, “Grandpa’s talking about himself again. We wish him well — it’s never too late to seek mental treatment.”
The fact that Trump’s post came just weeks after a video was shared to his Truth Social account that featured a clip of Barack and Michelle Obama as monkeys did not escape folks on social media.
“This racist (expletive) called Newsom racist …. SMH …” the Impeach Trump a 3rd Time! account on X wrote while sharing a screenshot of the video that the President posted featuring the Obamas.
“This is one thousand percent projection,” another person wrote.
“This is some Grade A projection by Trump,” another wrote.
“Cognitive mess and racist fits Trump perfectly,” Rodger Williams wrote on X.
There were plenty more comments like that on X.
The war of words between these two is likely far from over.

He did say, as an adult (and governor of California), that he had no idea about how to get his birth certificate. He implied that Dims are too dumb to figure that out.
It also implies that he won’t be able to solve any problems he might face as president.
Ohhhhh, so now the Far Left is familiar with the concept of projection. This is a welcome development. They are wrong in this case but at least they acknowledge the concept. Let the games begin.
2028 is getting farther away from Governor Gump by the day he will not hold another elected office only by cheat system is his best chance.
I wish the President would not dignify GN with any comments at all. A person who never was a credible contender for president, and never will be, should be beneath the notice of a great man.
While I agree with your sentiments, I suspect Trump is deliberately goading Gavin Mousse-alini into verbally destroying himself and the Democratic Party.
You miscopied the headline. “Strrng” should be “Stirring.” Quite confusing.
