It would be nice if Amanpour would revisit some of her past TDS hysteria. But I won’t hold my breath.
So, if “being right” results in either mass causalities or massive inflation, wipes out the Republicans in the mid-terms and gives us Gavin Newsom or AOC as President, how many are going to think starting this war was the right decision?
Ironic to hear her praising Trump, but what choice does she have, he’s saving her country after decades of strife, harsh rule and foreign incompetence.

Based on what I’ve seen from her up until this, I would’ve expected that she aligned herself with the ayatollah, not the women of Iran. I’m pleasantly surprised. It should be interesting to see if CNN keeps her.

It’s a general tendency. People on the left are on the left about matters that they know nothing about. On the few matters where they know something, they are conservative. In their private lives, they are conservative.
So, she is probably leftist and wrong on a vast number of topics. However, as an Iranian British woman, she may actually know something about Iran. On this matter, she is conservative. On everything else, liberal.
The American Revolution was against royalty and the revolt spread through Europe after the American victory. The revolt in Iran is against Islam. This could spread into the Islamic world just like the American Revolution did all over Europe.

Trump is in complete control, just sit back and watch the movie. Grab some popcorn, relax a bit. You seem nervous, anxious, and negative.. Ask your questions in a totally opposite manner, that will help you think positive. You feel better when you think positive. It’s proven.
Trump needs to declare victory and get out. Let Israel finish it. I say that as a Jew.
Whataboutism
Starting this war has been the right decision since 1979. The Iranian leadership are "twelvers", and if you don't know what that means, you need to learn what that means so that you can understand why we absolutely had to wipe them out.
We waited far to long to destroy these people, and we came very close to having a bad outcome worse than "mass casualties or massive inflation", or getting Republicans wiped out in the mid-terms, and even Gavin Newsom or AOC as president.
Stopping the twelvers means we still have a world to live on.
