How Fairfax County bus stop stabbing suspect avoided jail and deportation
NBC Washington ^ | 03 03 2026 | Julie Carey

A man already accused of stabbing four people was free to strike again — and last week that man, Abdul Jalloh, was arrested, this time for murder.

A Richmond Highway bus stop became a bloody crime scene last week. Jalloh was charged with murder, accused of fatally stabbing Stephanie Minter.

Larry Gross said when he heard about the crime, it reminded him of when he was attacked in February 2023.

Gross said he was pulling his shopping cart to a Richmond Highway 7-Eleven near his townhouse when Jalloh came at him, first stealing his cellphone.

“He came right at me, and he stabbed me. He tried to stab me, and the knife broke,” Gross said. “[…] I looked, unzipped and there was blood there.”

Jalloh later pleaded guilty to malicious wounding. It was one of 30 times police say he had been charged with a crime. And even though he’d been arrested before for a rape and three other stabbings, the attack on Gross was the first time there was a felony conviction. Jalloh was sentenced to two years, with five years of time suspended.

“I figured he’s in jail. When he gets out, they’ll do something with him,” Gross said.

But Jalloh wasn’t out of jail long before he was arrested again two times, and that triggered a probation violation, bringing him back to court and the possibility he could be put back in jail.

This is part of the problem. People dont expect violence, so they are not prepared to defend themselves or family from violence when it is presented. They freeze (gobsmacked) in stead of fight or flight. But its hard to convince people to get training when it takes away from their Instagram or play station time.

The commonwealth attorney in Fairfax County, Steve Descano, was Soros funded and has always been a disaster. He was re-elected to a second 4-year term — the county with 1 million people is solidly blue. Descano has a long history of releasing reprobates to prey on society.

It’s not fair we can’t all live in third world violent s holes so the democrats brought it to our neighborhoods. Enjoy the diversity.

Trump's fault?

The locals know better... That area has been a craphole since before I was in high school not that far from there but far enough for Hybla Valley residents not to get near there or my parents' house. One would certainly not hang out around there at night. The Monsignor for St. Louis Catholic Church up the hill from there, that we went to, constantly bitched about the sirens on Rt 1 during Homilies, and that was 50 years ago. Now, the Dems running Fairfax County and the Commonwealth's Attorney have only made it worse.

If you read the article, they try to blame ICE for not deporting him not the county that would not honor the detainer when he was in their custody. It would have benefited everyone to remove him from the country (except maybe his home country).

White people really need to start developing some racial self-awareness.

“The system,” particularly as operated in woke, neo-marxist places like Fairfax County, will not protect you.

In fact, many inside of it hate you.

And it’s why mentally ill, illegal-alien, black muslims from West Africa are allowed to roam free. They are used as agents of disruption and demoralization.

The US needs a website to “grade” judges and government attorneys on their malfeasance. A body count of the victims of these scoundrels actions and inactions.

Fairfax County has a very good police force but the District Attorney is a disaster. Steve Descano is a Soros supported, easy on the criminals, liberal, inept DA who ran off the experienced prosecutors when he first came into office. He needs to be run out of office.

This is part of the problem. People don't expect violence.

They have been programmed to ignore their instincts. Fact: when you see
something dark, violence is always a possibility. Be afraid of "the dark".

If somebody’s dog bites and injures you, you can sue their ass off. Jollah was one of Fairfax Counties dogs. The Minter family needs to sue the hell out of them.

Funny, I don't have any problem figuring out why he was set free.
