War Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday outlined what he described as a "clear" three-part mission against Iran, insisting the conflict "is not endless" and sharply rejecting comparisons to past U.S. wars in the Middle East.
Speaking during the first Pentagon briefing since U.S.-Israeli strikes began over the weekend, Hegseth said Operation Epic Fury has a narrowly defined objective: destroy Iran’s offensive missile capabilities, cripple its navy and prevent Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

In the June war Israel used 2-3 interceptors per missile. This time I see them using 8-9 interceptors per missile and connecting with even fewer of them. We’re screwed. Watch in 2-3 weeks when we’re out of interceptors Trump’s only recourse will be to threaten Iran with nukes.
Just as soon as we get a government to our liking, we’ll pull out.

Times have changed. Israel’s Iron Beam only requires electricity to shoot down rockets and drones. USA has the LUCAS drone at only 35k per.
Iranian production of missiles and drones will soon be ended as well as their stock of missiles and drones. They will only have small arms to defend themselves.

Nothing we or Israel currently have deployed will reliably stop Iran’s hypersonic missiles. Most seem to be getting through at least from the videos I’ve seen.
