After Saturday's highly successful Israeli and U.S.-led decapitation strike on Iran's Islamist regime, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth issued a statement letting the remaining mullahs know that we're not done.
Hegseth started by briefly laying out the regime's offenses and pointing out that President Trump is finally doing what others before him would not.
"Overnight, on President Trump’s orders, the Department of War commenced OPERATION EPIC FURY — the most lethal, most complex, and most-precision aerial operation in history.
"The Iranian regime had their chance, yet refused to make a deal — and now they are suffering the consequences. For almost fifty years, Iran has targeted and killed Americans, always seeking the world’s most powerful weapons to further their radical cause. Last night, unlike any previous president, President Trump began dealing with this cancer.
As the President stated, our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime.

As he referenced, this is the beginning. Hegseth then sent the remnants of the Islamic Republic a blunt message and specifically laid out a couple specific strategic objectives: to destroy the Iranian navy and all of Iran's missiles and missile production capability.
"We will not tolerate powerful missiles targeting the American people. Those missiles will be destroyed, along with Iran’s missile production. The Iranian navy will be destroyed. And, as President Trump has said his entire life, Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.
"The United States did not start this conflict, but we will finish it. If you kill or threaten Americans anywhere in the world — as Iran has — then we will hunt you down, and we will kill you.
"Our warriors are the best in the world, and they are fully unleashed to achieve our objectives. May God’s providence protect them in this vital mission."
Iran's propagandists are claiming that their regime killed 50 U.S. service members and that one of their missiles struck a U.S. Navy vessel; CENTCOM says that is false. One possible contributing factor for the lack of casualties is that the U.S. is using one-way attack drones "for the first time in history."

Hegseth is absolutely correct that our warriors are the best in the world. I join him in praying that God's providence will protect them in this vital mission.
Amen!
Relayed message from the dead Iranians already in Hell:
“Wear your summer caba or labbada. It is incredibly hot down here.”
Footnote:
“Iranian mullahs typically wear a layered outfit consisting of a long, V-necked cotton robe called a qaba (or qabaa), covered by an open-fronted, sleeveless, dark cloak known as an aba (or abaa). They also wear a turban (ammāme). A more tailored, high-collared version of the robe is called a labbada (labbaadeh). “
Seems the Israelis called the timing on this, when they learned the Iran leaders were gathered together. While we joined in with massive attacks, I’m guessing this is just what we had ready and not the full scope of what’s in the works.
We’re hoping the remaining regime elements decide to pack it in. But we’re also assessing and getting ready to deliver a lot more.
There is a very strategic difference in command and control of a dictatorial regime and a free regime. A dictatorial regime fears the ability of underlying officers to take control if they are eliminated thus limit that ability least they be disposed by coup. A free regime welcomes this as if the top are eliminated they know the officers below and noncoms will continue the fight with efficiency.
Elimination of the top of command and control in Iran will have a profound effect. It would not to our armed forces.
Would like to add “a Well Done Beginning” and “Thank You” to All of our Warriors in this Vital Mission.
A free and stable Iran will bring peace to the middle east for the first time ever. Iran is the root of evil in the world and removing those Mullahs will bring a new era of peace. God bless Trump and Bibi.
I saw some news report where a reporter in Israel has observed many US cargo planes bringing in more defensive systems into Israel, preparing for the retaliation strikes.
So I would think that our offensive weapons were also mostly in position.
This wouldn’t be the first time we wrecked their navy. Ref: “Operation Praying Mantis” (1988). That’s when we got real “proportional” with them for nearly sinking one of our destroyers with a mine.

Very astute observation!

IMMEDIATE JOB OPENING:
SUPREME LEADER & MULLAH OF IRAN 🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷
EXPECTED JOB DURATION:
12-24 HOURS MAXIMUM
Sink every naval vessel. Obliterate every ship yard. Destroy every missile. Glass every factory manufacturing missiles. Destroy every train track, train and vehicle capable of transporting any missile or missile parts. All of it. Task your time. Glass these places. Never again. Then go after remaining missiles and vessels of Houtis, , Hezbullah, Gaza, all of it. Wipe it out completely.
I have to think the easy part of this mission is defanging their military defense against us in the first few days. However, we are in unchartered territory in trying to change a regime where we will have no boots on the ground and their military is still capable of attacking those civilians and their supporters we have predetermined to be the transitional leadership. I would think they spent most of their pre war planning time on this issue and have a plan for it.
Get the mullahs out! Iran needs its own de-Nazification.

Re carrier launches in X video:
interesting to see the physical differences between the F22 and F18… the 22 has a much flatter profile, for one…
“Sleek” comes to mind. The F18 looks like a cutlass; the F22 more like a rapier… both are lethal…
F35, not F22.
F35, not F22.
F35, not F22.
The worst thing the enemy can do is kill the officer in an American unit….. he’s the only guy who knows the Geneva Checklist…..and the only thing holding the troops back.
