People in Iran have prepared for attacks. "It's war again. We don't know what to do," a Tehran resident told TT.
The Iranian population has been preparing for a possible war for weeks. Many have stockpiled water and bought tens of kilos of dry goods and other necessities. Freezers have been emptied in anticipation of a power outage, and on Saturday many families kept their children at home, even though it is a school day in Iran.
"We hope for victory," says a Tehran resident.
For many Iranians, however, victory is about overthrowing the regime, rather than Iran winning militarily over Israel and the United States.
In a video on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump urged the Iranian people to stand up against the government as soon as the bombings subside, saying the Iranians' "hour of freedom is near."

Cower in your apartments and wait for the Revolutionary Guards to come and take you away. Duh!
What to do? Fill the vaccuum with everything you’ve got!
Keep your powder dry... in farsi.
US and Israel need to drop them arms and ammunition.
Didn’t take long to wipe out the Ayatoilet.
I guess we’ll see if the Persians are not just willing to wish for freedom, but actually fight for it.
“Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.” Denis Diderot (1713-1784).
I live in rural Hawaii, I do mean RURAL!
I’m ready to go off grid for the next years
of life, water, food, electricity, internet et al.
It was surprisingly cheap and I live in comfort,
no major sacrifices.
I spent most my life prepping to make the break.
Retired at age 54.
Anybody can do what I did.
Stint in the military, earn a degree,
be selective about who you work for.
NEXT STEP:
Arm the Iranian revolutionaries with an air drop of 1 million AK-47s and 1 trillion rounds of 7.62×39 ammo.
Yup, I said to my better half this afternoon, “I hope they are dropping pallets of AK’s and ammo in the desert somewhere”
Trust me, we did not spend two months finalizing plans to overlook what will be needed after the bombing campaign ends. I imagine that Iranian revolutionaries are being armed as we speak. Sorry but that is not going to be streamed online as things still need to be kept secret.
I suspect Mossad has weapons and cells in place to allow the Iranian people to fill the void.
They’re not stupid and “what next” has been gamed out.
They can organize and get it going, then hopefully leave.
I wonder if any of our special forces are in Iran……helping to organize the Persians.
They need to change the country’s name back to Persia once it’s over and stabilized.
Yes, here’s how to say **”Keep your powder dry”** in Farsi (Persian):
The most common literal translation used in dictionaries and online resources is:
**پودر خود را خشک نگه دار**
*(Pudr-e khod rā khoshk negah dār)*
A more natural, idiomatic way to convey the same meaning (be prepared, stay ready/alert for action/challenges, don’t waste your resources yet) in everyday Persian would be:
**آماده باش** or **گوش به زنگ باش**
*(Āmāde bāsh* or *Gush be zang bāsh*)
— These are direct equivalents meaning “be ready” or “stay on alert/be vigilant.”
Another close cultural parallel is **”به خدا توکل کن ولی شترت را ببند”**
*(Be Khodā tavakkol kon vali shotorat rā beband*)
— “Trust in God, but tie your camel” (a famous Persian/Islamic proverb with the same “faith + practical preparedness” vibe as the English one attributed to Cromwell).
So, if you’re going for the closest direct equivalent:
**پودر خود را خشک نگه دار** (literal)
or simply **گوش به زنگ باش** (natural idiom for “keep your powder dry / stay sharp”).
Be cool until a roving band of natives comes and kills you because of your skin color.
I live on a farm in Indiana; wholly off-grid.
The fit hit the shan, in good good and proper measure, that is for sure. Much of the governing regime has been reduced to worm food, and there is a widespread absence of any leadership across much of the nation. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the military arm of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has largely given up any semblance of restoring order, in the vacuum that has appeared from the top. There is a sort of “government in exile” but it has been given very little accord at this point, and might never actually assume power, both because they are not physically present within the region, and because there is little known support for them to come in.
The fall of the Nazi regime in Germany in 1945 did not leave this much disarray in its wake.
Whose side are you on?
“Anybody can do what I did.
Stint in the military, earn a degree,
be selective about who you work for.”
Excellent, and there are many similar strategies.
Most people will not try any of them.

I sure hope and pray for the Persians to take their country back and prosper.
“Videos have circulated on social media showing Iranians cheering on the attacks, even as reports indicate that the regime has shut down the internet and is jamming satellite signals from diaspora news channels that would otherwise provide critical information about the strikes.
Chants heard across Iranian cities include“death to Khamenei” and “long live the Shah.” Other videos display Iranians honking their cars and chanting “Azadi,” the Farsi word for freedom, dancing in the streets, and gleefully laughing while watching a plume of smoke rise from Khamenei’s residence.”
