Some U.S. embassy staff in Israel have been told to leave the country quickly in a message which will be seen as another sign of a possible American attack on Iran as threatened by President Donald Trump.

U.S. ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said in an email to staff at the American mission that those wishing to leave should "do so TODAY," according to The New York Times, in a report confirmed by other outlets.

Yes, that’s the thinking. The Russians are usually the last nation to yank their diplomats out of harm’s way, so when they do it’s viewed as serious. Also, a $200+ million super high tech U.S. surveillance drone “disappeared” over the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours, evidently the victim of Iranian (or Russian or Chinese) electronic warfare.
