The FBI has fired additional agents who worked on cases involving President Trump, including several who worked on the Mar-a-Lago documents case.
A source who confirmed the firings to The Hill said at least 10 agents were removed Wednesday.
The dismissals are just the latest in a wave of firings of FBI and Justice Department personnel who worked on cases involving Trump.
The FBI Agents Association blasted the move as weakening the bureau.
“The FBIAA condemns today’s unlawful termination of FBI Special Agents, which—like other firings by Director Patel—violates the due process rights of those who risk their lives to protect our country,” the group said in a statement.
“These actions weaken the Bureau by stripping away critical expertise and destabilizing the workforce, undermining trust in leadership and jeopardizing the Bureau’s ability to meet its recruitment goals—ultimately putting the nation at greater risk.”
Trump was charged with violating the Espionage Act and obstruction of justice after he was found to have 300 documents with classified markings in his Florida estate. The case asserted Trump likewise ordered the documents to be moved to hide them from authorities and his own lawyer.
The FBI previously fired agents who worked on the case charging Trump for his conduct related to Jan. 6.
The Justice Department has similarly engaged in sweeping firings of prosecutors who worked on the Trump cases, as well as those who brought charges against rioters who stormed the Capitol that day.

Good...it is shameful what so called Americans have done to crucify one political segment...probably involved millions in payoffs...these guys were supposed to be guardians of the countre.

In one respect, I agree with the FBIAA.
They shouldn’t be fired.
They should be prosecuted.
Who were they? What were their positions in the hierarchy?
I 100% guarantee you - the DOJ/FBI are the most hierarchical, political organizations you can imagine. Similar to the Soviet KGB or even military command structures.
One does not simply dream up an operation, and raid former Presidents’ homes on the pretext of “national security,” without their being consent, affirmation and political protection up and down the entire organization.
I hope Melania burned all her panties that those sick bass turds rifled through. There’s no telling what they did with them.
iirc - The FBI agents who were sent to Mar-A-Lago were all DC based. The Biden FBI did not trust the local agents from the Miami office. Maybe they would leak the raid in advance?
I will assume that the FBI skunks from DC were anti-Trump go-getters, with Trump Derangement Syndrome. They wanted the bragging rights at Washingtoon DC cocktail parties etc.
Well, if you must know, I paid a buck to see them.

Chuck Schumer warned early on that the intelligence agencies were poised to get Trump “six ways to Sunday.” We were all forewarned even if few listened. We all saw the results. Now the bill is coming due for these disloyal minions.
