I was there for Hurricane Camille, August 17, 1969.
Went through Air Force officer communications electronics school there 63-64. Great experience...learned a lot that’s lasted over the years. Fond memories of Keesler and Mississippi!
Thanks for tonight’s Road Trip, Lauren!
Good evening to you PROCON!
Spent 3 months there in the late summer & early fall of 1970 learning to be a radio operator.
Howdy, luvie.
Feel good getting to sleep in today? :-)
I hope it wasn’t too cool for comfort like it was/is here. BRRRRRRRRR
Very good! Refreshed, now, for the busy week ahead.
Mine was restful, too, but only because it was too cold and windy to go out to do anything. LOL
Hiya radu, sorry I missed you last night, I’m doing fine, son’s over tonight for dinner & beers, hope all is well your way!
Yikes! It’s probably a pretty safe bet that’s an experience you never want to repeat!
From all I’ve heard over the years, the military has excellent electronics schools, and what those who go through them learn lasts a lifetime. Sounds like that’s the case with you too. :-)
Hi, lauren! Hope you’re doing good.
Hey there, radu!
I didn’t get to sleep in. Had a 9am neurologist appointment, but I crashed and burned after I got home and had my morning tea and a homemade cinnamon roll. It was an ordeal, but I think it will help rid myself of this numbness of my fingers and feet. AND it was darn chilly out at that time of the morning.
On Wednesday it’s supposed to be 87. 😱 Hope you get a warm-up too!
