A MAN has been shot dead after allegedly trying to enter Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
The US Secret Service said it had shot and killed the suspect in his 20s after he tried to enter the perimeter around the US president’s Florida residence.
Authorities said the ordeal unfolded at around 1:30am on Sunday.
Trump is currently in Washington, not at the 62,500-square-foot property in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The name of the suspect who was shot has not been released.

Secret Service source tells me the shooter who came to Mar a Lago today to assassinate President Trump is a US citizen, and appears to be a white male who tried sneaking into the gate to Mar a Lago as it was opening.
Source says, “All of the procedures worked and the individual was confronted immediately.”
No protectees were on site at the time, which is why the road to Mar a Lago was open. The shooter tried sneaking in through the gate to Mar a Lago as it was opening.
