Like many people in the Twin Cities, Jess has been observing ICE officers: following them in her car and documenting their actions. Earlier this month, she was in North Minneapolis, when immigration agents told her and another observer they were impeding a federal investigation.
"We followed at a distance. We never got in front of them. We never honked our horns. We never made any sort of noise. We were just keeping an eye on them," said Jess, who requested NPR only use her first name because she fears retaliation from the federal government.
She says she kept tracking the officers at a distance. But then the three vehicles she was following turned around and drove toward her. Federal agents hopped out.

Abetting is criminally actionable, yes? Up to and including public officials.
nope! Trump is trying to keep ICE safe and able to do their job without hassle from dim bulbs who think they have the authority to interfere.
As they should! Mind your own business and let LEO’s do their job. These people interfering are whack jobs plain and simple. All of them should be arrested the moment they show up to interfere.
Observing ice?
Is that what they object to?
Is MPR cut off from fed funds yet?
Interfering isnβt observing.
Skip shaving or bathing for a week and VOILA!!!
How to recognize one another? A daily password!
I just don’t understand how the liberals decided they should observe and then interfere with ICE.
I understand the liberals do not want our immigration laws to be enforced. But why would they actually interfere with ICE? I’m sure they are happy they have their martyrs. Is that what it’s really all about? Being able to see MSNOW talking heads saying how innocent people got killed because of ICE?
Is npr still getting taxpayer’s money?
How would ICE know someone was just observing them?
Unlike all your Loony Tunes compatriots! Jess, you are an anomaly, an outlier. You are also probably an outcast from the crazies.
Whatever happened to “Obstruction of Justice”?
I'm gonna bet that Jess is lying about that.
(The Trump administration is increasingly
trying to criminalize observing ICE)
That sounds like a pretty good idea π‘π‘π‘
(cough π·π·π·)
Observing? No.
Interfering with? Yes.
Attacking? Yes.
Tagline is still accurate.
Methinks Jess is lying. As the left is morally ambiguous, this should not suprise anyone.
CC
NPR. Butt-hurt.
“Methinks Jess is lying.”
A leftist lying in furtherance of the cause? Nah, never happens!
It’s collaboration to interfere with federal law enforcement if the observation information is forwarded to others to impede the federal officers.
Logging locations and identifying information for others to use to impede federal agents for instance.
