Hamas’s military wing began sending coded emoji messages on WhatsApp to operatives’ phones just hours before the October 7, 2023, attack, using the symbols as an agreed signal to mobilize terrorists to mosques for last minute instructions.
Review
In a sane world that would make mosques legitimate military targets.
I wondered what purpose emojis served. :-(
The question is, just how far can Islam go before people wake up, destroy all the mosques(staging areas for terrorism) that are not in the sand Countries, and incarcerate or deport the 18-35 year old potential terrorists that are in imbedded in western civilization.
Mosques are just ammo dumps, and rallying positions for fighters.
Legitimate targets, in other words.
It was a horrific, barbarous attack. But in a way, they made several grievous errors. This was all supposed to be coordinated through Tehran. Tehran’s plan was to unleash all the proxies at once - from Lebanon, from Syria, from Yemen and from Gaza. Tehran would force Israel to waste its ammo shooting down 100,000 rockets over the course of 5 or so days after which Iran would launch their heavy arsenal. Hezbullah was supposed to do to the north what Hamas did to the south - invade and capture or kill as many civilians as possible and the civilians are more densely populated in the north (Israel evacuated them after Oct 7th). From Lebanon they were to also fire into Tel Aviv and also at the Israeli gas pipelines and platforms in the Mediterranean Sea.
So in a way, Israel got a break. Hamas jumped the gun and took the plan into their own hands likely because they were worried that if the Saudis joined the Abraham accords the “Palestinian cause” would come to an end. While aligned in ideology and desire to destroy Israel their missions are not in alignment. Iran wants to destroy Israel while Hamas wants to take it over. And now here we are 2.5 years later, Gaza is in ruins, Hezbullah had their nuts literally blown off and most of their arsenal destroyed, Syria fell to a Turkish backed rebel, Israel grabbed control of nearly all the land south of Damascus and is aligned with several sectarian factions there, and Iran is about to get clobbered in what looks like a 100 day campaign similar to what Clinton and Blair did to Slobodan Milosevic. No need for ground troops just bomb everything of strategic value until the IRGC admits defeat and surrenders control of the country.
