“The Democrats refuse to vote for Voter I.D., or Citizenship. The reason is very simple — They want to continue to cheat in Elections. This was not what our Founders desired. I have searched the depths of Legal Arguments not yet articulated or vetted on this subject, and will be presenting an irrefutable one in the very near future. There will be Voter I.D. for the Midterm Elections, whether approved by Congress or not! Also, the People of our Country are insisting on Citizenship, and No Mail-In Ballots, with exceptions for Military, Disability, Illness, or Travel. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP”

They have all sorts of reasons why it shouldn’t be passed, and then boldly laugh in the backrooms after their ridiculous presentations. If it weren’t such a serious matter, it would be considered a TOTAL JOKE! No Voter I.D. is even crazier, and more ridiculous, than Men playing in Women’s Sports, Open Borders, or Transgender for Everyone. Republicans must put this at the top of every speech — It is a CAN’T MISS FOR RE-ELECTION IN THE MIDTERMS, AND BEYOND! Even Democrat Voters agree, 85%, that there should be Voter I.D. Me too, but this is one I wish he wouldn't say out loud. At least not yet. This will just give those cowardly Congress Critters an excuse not to pass it themselves, shifting the issue away from themselves, and I'd like to see Congress pass it if they can.

It should be “RARE exceptions for Travel with advanced justification.” That’s the way it was for decades.

Executive orders become law in 30 days unless overridden by Congress.
And the Constitution explicitly gives Congress the authority to regulate Federal elections.
I agree with your observation and suggestion.
Especially since voter ID is so very popular among just about all demo groups, and across party lines.
(One suspects that communists and illegal aliens don't like the VOTER ID requirement. Let's get them on the record!)
The Do Nothing Congress. Fun as a punchline gag while it lasted. Never got rid of the filibuster until the day the Dems took over the House and Senate and kicked ass in 2027.
Then out of work DC denizens of the GOP crowded the lines to try for guest spots on tv talk shows. Most washed out. Back to getting their payoffs for favors from lobbyists’ bosses.

It’s what DemocRats do every time! Make something official for a while, make everyone abide, then it’s tossed out later, maybe. They throw their hands up and “Oh well!”

You may be thinking of the thirty days that is their time before implementation to block or modify. It still serves the purpose, it makes them publicly pick a side.

When democrats to serious fraud they vote the people who don’t show up to vote. That’s how ‘the dead’ get caught up in voting. They never show up. The only way to combat this type of fraud is for the FBI to seed voter rolls with fake names to see if democrat ‘voted’ the nonexistent people.
That’s a bit of a laugh. There are several states that rely completely on the Federal Post Office for election security.
It seems easy to say that the Post Office is NOT designed for this and force states to find another way. The Post Office is completely under federal authority.
I don’t think that will work.
