Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday ruled out Tehran ever giving up uranium enrichment in its negotiations with Washington, insisting it will not be intimidated by the threat of war with the United States.
Araghchi told a forum in Tehran that Tehran had little trust in Washington, and even doubted that the US side was taking renewed negotiations seriously.
“Why do we insist so much on enrichment and refuse to give it up, even if a war is imposed on us? Because no one has the right to dictate our behavior,” Araghchi declared.

They are probably correct we are not taking the talks that seriously because Trump wants to knock them out of power.
Iran should take the talks more seriously
Both sides are just playing for time.
I wonder what the hold up is on our side? Iran is killing people in the streets and all of a sudden Trump wants to negotiate a nuke deal? And this after saying, “Don’t”, just like Biden.
If Trump doesn’t want to get involved, he should not have encouraged the revolt. The “people” cannot win if they don’t have the means. This has been the case there since 1979.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the “after meetings”.
He has to. Iran is a disease and must be eradicated. The Mullahs must pay for their murders.
Iran seems to think they are still dealing with Biden(Obama).
But doesn’t Islam dictate their behavior?
Why don’t we just go in there with F-35s, kill all the evil bastards who’ve been running the country since 1979 and install the Shah’s son as the President.
A day ago Israel told the world that they’re now ready for war. Bibi is flying to DC to talk with Pres. Trump in person. Once our military gives to ready signal and the 2 countries have their plans aligned, then it’s a matter of when.
Objective question: Given their religious laws and customs, why should we trust them?
The Iranian foreign minister quoted (sort of) in the article was from a speech at an Al Jazeera forum.
Al Jazeera, being Sunni and not Shiite, is somewhat more impartial than an Israeli news outlet.
They quote it like this:
Nuclear enrichment is Iran’s “inalienable right and must continue”, Araghchi said, adding, “We are ready to reach a reassuring agreement on enrichment. The Iranian nuclear case will only be resolved through negotiations.”
Note also that 99% of all nuclear weapons on earth are plutonium based and have nothing to do with U235/U238 enrichment. Iran has a commercial power reactor in used right now. Reactor fuel is enriched U235 at a level far below weapons grade. There is no reason they could not have enrichment to that level.
Rather, what Israel (and Saudi Arabia) pressures the US to provide, are measures far beyond nuclear weapons, essentially demanding that a puppet government be installed in Iran. The 95% Shiite Iranian populace will never accept imposing anti-Shiite policies in their own government.
“Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.”
Why don’t we just go in there with F-35s, kill all the evil bastards who’ve been running the country since 1979 and install the Shah’s son as the President.

Never mind the F35s.
Linebacker 1 and 2.
Rolling Thunder
Now, that's an interesting statement. Where do you think the Plutonium comes from?
Plutonium has everything in the world to do with Uranium enrichment.

That right there is the million $$ question...

30k dead. Game over, different game. That ball plays quite differently.
Correction: Replace ‘lost’ with ‘squandered’...
