D.C. law requires firearm owners to register their weapons with local police and bars residents from registering certain semiautomatic rifles, effectively preventing civilian ownership of those models in the district, Axios reports.

Headline is flat out lie. DC LAW requires anyone who wants to carry in DC get a DC permit.
This is the downside to appointing a bunch of camera hounds to important governmental positions. These folks crave attention and will do anything to get it.
Another New Yorker now in Washington DC. Down in her DNA, she thinks guns are illegal. She doesn’t even know she said anything wrong.
A judge should know the Constitution.
If a license is required and you don’t have one you aren’t legal.
Reciprocity is their prerogative.
She simply stated that your carry permit from any of the 50 states is not valid in DC. She is following the law whether it is popular or not.
And she works for Blondie, who is also anti-gun. And Trump at best is neutral to just adequate, but no superstar.
Scary to think that these are probably the best friends we have in government. That should give everybody pause.
Yeah I like Judge Jeanine A LOT but this was wrong for her to say, I dont care if this comes out of the mouth of a Republican OR Democrat its plain wrong and I disagree with it
How is that weakening gun control in D.C.? Pirro is telling people from other parts of the country, that they have to abide with D.C. gun laws and register their weapons with local police if they come to the District as the law states.
Law and Order — only one of our political parties believes in it.
DC has laws. People should follow the law.
I’d like all the gun control laws to go away.
Second best option — National Reciprocity just like drivers license or marriage licenses.
But what we have is a patchwork of laws all over the country which infringe to greater or lesser extents. Know the law. Follow the law.
I see this as partial fallout from Pretti in Minneapolis. He brought a gun to a demonstration (violated the law) and he had a gun in his possession without an ID (violated the law).
We need to be consistent about law and order.
The freepers buying into this headline are just as gullible as the liberal democrats they would denounce.
That is NOT what she said, stop being stupid and go read what she actually said, we expect better than lemming behavior from freepers.
She’s doing her job. Carrying out the laws that at the moment, are deemed Constitutional. If only all appointed and elected officials did too.
I don’t expect the Media to change its spots - ever.
All it can do is go dark. I guess, then, that FR will, too.
