Never under estimate the unintended real-life human consequences of this war on migrants.
For several months, my Amazon packages have arrived consistently late. And I've been a Prime member for over 12 years.
Now I know who to blame.

What I DON’T want to do is warehouse these people.

They are also buying up a lot of plastic wrap and some ICE agents are becoming fork lift certified.
(let's see if we can get a new rumor started the old ones now bore)

Well; if the purpose is to house detainees, I would 50x rather ICE purchase existing warehouses than to build brand new ones at a cost of $1.3 billion each.
To: ClearCase_guy
it’s just a clearing house :)

Trump’s unpredictable tariffs have thrown the warehouse business for a loop. There is a brand new warehouse complex in my area unrented for many months. I can see why ICE may see an opportunity in this sector.

As a former US Gov’t employee (that actually worked!) I can assure you ICE is not buying warehouses.
If, and that’s an important word here.... IF the government wanted to warehouse illegals in actual warehouses - they would LEASE them, not purchase them.
Sometimes just a little inside knowledge helps to understand these made up stories.

Some bodega owners linked to “undoumented”, not too happy I imagine.
Tough luck.

yep, people thinking this is a good idea after the administration’s recent comments on people carrying guns is pretty awful
