Dems don’t care about rapid decline of NY, Calif. — as long as THEIR piece of the pie stays fat

Perhaps the sickest thing about the rapid decline of blue states like New York and California, each rapidly shrinking in comparison to the rest of the country, is that the Democrats who dominate their governments can’t be bothered to stop the bleeding — but only to ensure their own turf remains whole.

...

Yet the progressive Democrats who fully control both state government show zero sign of reversing their high tax, prodigious spending, crushing-regulation ways; their only response is to gerrymander ruthlessly so that their party retains its House-seat count.

California’s climate remains as perfect as ever, yet it’s staring at a drastic drop come 2030 — its House delegation shrinking more than 10% in just two decades.

Without a doubt, the two states’ increasingly-lefty policies explains their shared decline.

Democratic policies “raise the cost on just about everything,” warns Upstate United’s Justin Wilcox.

New Yorkers pay more tax per capita than any other Americans; California is racing to catch up after taking a hard left turn in the late 1990s.

Progressive laws and regulations drive up housing costs, making it far more expensive and time-consuming to build.

Green anti-carbon (and anti-nuclear, for some reason) obsessions lead to exorbitant costs for electricity that also becomes less reliable.

Business taxes and regulations push away companies — and jobs, sending unemployment skyrocketing.

Dem rule lets lousy schools proliferate, allowing teacher unions and other vested interests to run public education systems to suit their needs, not the kids’.

And lefty social policies foster rampant homelessness and public drug use, as well as exploding crime.

The future looks more grim in both states: New York is eyeing statewide tax hikes to fund Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist agenda, while the threat of a new “wealth tax” in Cali is already driving out top earners.

It’s all part of the plan to generate the chaos that brings the new order.

If the left had ever historically cared about population decline, they might’ve starved less people

Wars start when you start arguing about shares of a shrinking pie because everyone’s fair share is what he used to get plus a piece of his neighbor’s piece of the pie.

They are growing their pie by taking over states like Virginia. And when that one dries up they’ll take over another state.

as people continue to leave, they’ll certainly care about their loss of house seats and electoral votes ...

The Democrats have a simple plan.

Steal as much taxpayer money as possible while deliberately running the country into the ground to crash the economy.

Then buy up all the devalued assets at pennies on the dollar with the money that they have stolen

If they had their way, they would implement Soviet-style internal passports, and require permission from the State to move to a different location.

Basically what happened when the Soviet Union fell. When things were privatized, the insiders bought up the assets on the cheap. And then to protect their ill-gotten gains, they installed Putin.

You can think of LBJ and how he handled the war in Vietnam. All that he and his friends and friends of friends cared about was lining their pockets from government war contracts and not actually winning the war and smashing the Cong.

Captive taxpayers unable to flee to another state would be their dream.

PERMIT ME TO PREFACE ANOTHER OF GUY’S EXCELLENT COMMENTARIES WITH MY CONSTITUTIONALLY TWISTED COMMENTS:
If the LEGISLATIVE LARCENY & GOVERNMENT GRAFT described below (and we TAX SLAVES have been subjected to for decades), fails to anger you, you’re either a closet Democrat...or dead!
SHARE, if only to alert your family & friends that you are OK WITH THE 2nd CIVIL WAR these CRIMINALS ARE BREWING LEST THEY BE REQUIRED TO (HORRORS!!!) GET HONEST JOBS!

I hear Second Amendment fanatics insisting that Alex Pretti had every right to be carrying a weapon in Minneapolis. The most determined Second Amendment advocate I have known, the late retired Marine Captain Bob Thornton, told me, “Don’t ever carry a weapon where you think there might be trouble. In fact,” he went on, “don’t even go anywhere you think there might be trouble.”

[Boy, how I miss him.] I can’t imagine how any sane person would think the United States Constitution entitles them to carry a weapon into a fight with armed law enforcement officers, and not expect bad consequences. Like Bob said, just don’t ever do it.

Thought I heard something about the United States Congress sending $40 million taxpayer dollars to the Taliban every month, so, outraged, I looked it up. That is not correct. The United States Congress has been sending $40 million dollars to the Taliban EVERY WEEK, according to NEWSWEEK.

That was certainly news to me. Apparently it’s a holdover from the Biden Administration, when Sock Puppet Joe surrendered to the Taliban $85,000,000,000 [that’s billion] in top-of-the-line American military equipment, vehicles, aircraft and weapons. Just turned around and abandoned it, on the advice of Chairman Mark [“I need to understand why I have white rage”] Milley of the Joint Chiefs.

Evidently that wasn’t enough for the Democrats, so they wrote into the law that the Taliban continue to get $40 million each week. That’s in appreciation for killing so many of our American and allied troops.

Forbes reports that Ilhan Omar and her husband have acquired $30 million by operating an investment firm that has no clients, no investments, no money management, no deals and no work. Forbes says it is an illegal international money laundering enterprise.
Surprised?

Info I picked up from Jeff Childers in Coffee & Covid is that Alex Pretti was fired from the Veterans Administration for cause six months ago, is unemployable as a nurse, and has had no income for six months besides his pay as a professional agitator. Haven’t seen confirmation of this in Big News Media yet, and probably never will.

If you’re a New Yorker outside of NYC let that sink in. You’re already funding statewide and NYC foolishness - but now you get the bonus of helping to pay for socialist Mammadammadingdong’s ‘freebies’ in NYC. Yay!

The country should get back to basics. Eliminate all laws and programs that have been enacted since 1960.

I believe that in the future the Democrat/Communist Party
will try to do that.
