Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents executed a search warrant at Fulton County's elections office in Georgia on Wednesday. We're now getting a glimpse of what was targeted and what was seized in a search reportedly related to the 2020 presidential election.
The search warrant included a list of "particular things" that were to be seized during the raid. The document specifies that "all physical ballots from the 2020 general election," ballot images, tabulator tapes, and "all voter rolls" are to be targeted.
The warrant, signed by federal magistrate judge Catherine Salinas, states that an affidavit from a special agent about "concealed" property on the premises of the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center "establishes probable cause to search or seize" the property.
It further states that the material "constitutes evidence of the commission of a criminal offense" and that it had allegedly been "used as the means of committing a criminal offense."
🚨 A federal judge authorized the FBI to seize 2020 election records from Fulton County, GA.
This is a criminal search warrant (not a subpoena), issued Jan 28, 2026 by the U.S. District Court after a finding of probable cause. The warrant cites federal election laws and authorizes seizure of ballots, tabulator tapes, ballot images, voter rolls, and electronic data from the 2020 election. Two things stand out: 1. The scope: this is a comprehensive evidentiary sweep, not a narrow inquiry 2. The timing: six years after the election, which is highly unusual absent new evidence or unresolved record-retention issues
This is a serious federal investigation, and one that now clearly sits in DOJ territory, not state politics.
We’ll see where it leads.

Based on the warrant, agents rolled up to Fulton County's election offices like it was Amazon Prime Day here in my household. Maybe it was Prime Day for democracy. Considering the county was pivotal in the 2020 presidential election, and, having been assured it was the "most secure" and "most audited" election in the history of history, you'd have thought officials would have happily escorted agents in to peruse the documents they were seeking.
Instead, Fulton County Commissioner Mo Ivory fretted that the search was "all wrong" and vowed to "figure out a legal plan" to counter the ongoing investigation. Why, pray tell, would you need a legal plan to counter what were no doubt boxes of legitimate election ballots and voter rolls? Hundreds of boxes, it turns out.
“They are now in there getting the documents," she said in a video posted to social media. "Seven hundred boxes of 2020 ballots and accompanying things that go with it. You know, absentee ballots, all the things."
"This is all wrong, so we're trying to figure out a legal plan, and we should have one, whether that's an injunction, whether a motion to quash, we're trying to figure it out right now," she continued. "Because this is an attack on our elections, meant to keep you from trying to go to the polls in November."
"Once they have the ballots," a concerned Ivory said, "how do we then turn around and do something different when they've already got their hands on it?"
Fulton County, Georgia, Commissioner, Mo Ivory, is freaking out because the FBI took 700 boxes of 2020 ballots.
Only cheaters and criminals act the way Ivory is acting.
If the ballots were legitimate then she’d be proud to share them.

FBI Director Kash Patel, in an appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show earlier today, briefly discussed the search warrant but provided limited detail due to the active investigation.
"The FBI and DOJ presented this information to a judge in Georgia, where they determined — the judge — that there was a finding for probable cause following the constitutional precepts that are necessary to safeguard an investigation," Patel said. "And what we did yesterday was we presented our facts and the findings of the investigation, and the judge determined there was probable cause."
"And then you saw the results, we went and executed a search warrant, and collected the information pursuant to that search warrant to continue our investigation."
"Yesterday was a big public-facing step, and you're right, you saw trucks, you saw material being removed," Patel added. "What the FBI will do is now analyze that information, and we will take the next investigatory steps with our Department of Justice partners."
The warrant references potential violations under Title 52: one concerning the retention and preservation of records and papers by officers of elections, and another outlines criminal penalties for individuals, including election officials, who intimidate voters or knowingly procure false votes or false voter registrations.
Whether this warrant uncovers any smoking guns remains to be seen. Patel has made it clear that due process will be followed under his leadership.
This is a developing story. RedState will keep readers updated as new events warrant.
If as the Dems say, 2020 was the cleanest election on record, shouldn't they be happy that the FBI is doing this? If as they claim, the election was clean, then the ballots should be clean, and this is the best way to show the world that all these accusations about stolen elections are bunk.
Nothing to be worried about, unless....
Honest question.
Why weren’t these ballots shredded after the results were accepted?
If I were a thieving Democrat, they wouldn’t have been turned into a nice ash pile for by garden to enjoy the carbon.
If they ever fi d out that ruby whatshername rea.ly did cheat in the building where they xent everyobe home over a “water main break”, will they force her to lay back ths millions she got suing? Will they reimburse mike lindell for zll the money he lost trying to prove election frzud?
Let’s find out who killed Harrison Deal.
What’s the penalty under law of shredding the ballots vs the penalty for actively stealing an election?
fyi for people regarding retention of election materials...
Garland Favorito of VoterGA got an injuction for preservation of all 2020 election materials.
Because VoterGA’s cases have not all been adjudicated, the injunction is still in place....
It will be to his, and other’s hard work and efforts to get to the bottom of the election fraud, that the materials have been preserved.
Am I to assume that the Democrats did not shred these even if they wanted to because doing so would lead to some automatic jail time?
They’ve had over five years to fiddle and fool with them, to delete some and create others. How can results of an investigation be trusted?
There were legal proceedings that required they be kept longer. Courts tend to view spoliation of evidence very dimly.
Good post.
FYI to all...
I may be wrong, in that VoterGA got the original injunction, but it may have been superceded or updated since the original one.
Anyway, I think this is the first injunction. There is a legal section on voterga.org, but I don’t seem to be able to open the links, so had to search for an alternate link from what I remember.
Henry County Superior Court Judge Files Temporary Injunction on Fulton County Mail-In Ballots
Chief Judge Brian Amero filed a temporary injunction ordering Fulton County to preserve their general election mail-in ballots. Plaintiffs in the case organized by Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia (VoterGA) had hoped to obtain an order from this hearing allowing them to conduct a forensic inspection of the county’s mail-in ballots.
Georgia has tried multiple times to get the materials destroyed, but haven’t been able to get around the injunction(s) on the protection of election materials.
Somebody had to have dropped a dime on this in order to get a warrant issued. If it comes out, after all this time, that they kept election materials that incriminate those who committed fraud, someone should go to jail for being criminally stupid.
Just like their resisting all audits. It would seem to me you would not mind audits at all, if you did nothing wrong.
“Courts tend to view spoliation of evidence very dimly.”
If only that applied to the Hildabeast.
Bit by bit.... Unraveling the reasons why demonrats have been “winning” elections.... Hell is appropriate for them.
They’ve had over five years to fiddle and fool with them, to delete some and create others. How can results of an investigation be trusted?“
That’s funny, because I heard a Dim say that now that the FBI has them, they will manipulate and fabricate so that all of the good evidence will be destroyed and we won’t be able to trust the results of the investigation.
Thought so too but didn’t think of him.
Makes sense since Homeland Security is involved.
