Charging documents are shedding more light on what led to a Border Patrol shooting in Pima County early Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Patrick Gary Schlegel, 34, was shot by an agent near Arivaca, which is about 30 miles south of Tucson. Schlegel was transported to a local hospital and was in serious, but stable, condition. No federal agents were injured.
13 News talked with Amber Schlegel, the suspect’s sister, on Wednesday, and she had a message for anyone showing pity for him.
“To hear that he’s back running illegals again didn’t surprise me, but to hear that he actually fired at federal agents – that took me by surprise," she said. “He is no victim. He is a violent person. That’s who he always has been.”
Amber said her brother put plenty of people in danger by his alleged actions.
“I don’t care how people feel (illegals), they’re people,” she said. “He could have killed them with no care.”
She also said her brother had already threatened her before for speaking out against him. She even had to get an order of protection against him.
“He’s where he should be,” she said. “Whether he recovers or not, he needs to be locked up for a very long time.”

(Barf Alert for this segment)
A handful of citizens gathered Tuesday evening to protest after hearing of the shooting.
13 News spoke with protestor Jeanne Lukasko, and asked if he had heard the specific details surrounding the incident. While he said he hadn’t, he said he doesn’t trust what Border Patrol is saying, but added that the protest goes beyond Schlegel’s shooting.
“It’s never about just one person,” Lukasko said. “It’s about what has been an onslaught of violence going back to when ICE was created. When Border Patrol was created.”

Protesters supporting violent criminals appear in the story as well at the end.
Where were these anti-ICE protesters when there were 4,600,000 removals, returns, and expulsions under the Biden Administration?
There were 8 fatal shootings by Border Patrol during the Biden Administration. Again, crickets from you people.
The animus, agitation, and protests really stem from the fact that they don’t like the election results.
The guy was shot in an area that’s basically smugglers alley and has been for over 50 years. There are confrontations between BP and the cartelistas all the time and you don’t hear about it, just like nobody in the national media pays any attention to cops in Chicago having routine firefights with armed gangs.
My....how inconvenient for the Anti-ICERs.
“The animus, agitation, and protests really stem from the fact that they don’t like the election results.”
Accurate.
Classic example of situational ethics.
Democrat action - good.
Republican action- bad.
“...spoke with protestor Jeanne Lukasko, and asked if he had heard the specific details ...”
So a “he” named Jeanne who admits knowing nothing about the incident is the best that Central Trans/Protestor Casting could muster?
Were republicans to employ media pay-ops of the leftists,
I’d lean into promoting the “injustice” injuring the jagoff and hang them on their own petard
Bad Hombre....
Adios
The highest number I have come across is 1.1 million, but the majoriity of these deportations were actuually refual of entry at the border.
As for the claim; There were 8 fatal shootings by Border Patrol during the Biden Administration,. I find no claim of even 1 person killed.
However, they do bring in What has transpired under Trump. Thuus it could be more suppresion of the truth.
Here is one killed: https://borderoversight.org/event/january-29-2021-2/

That’s a start for you. I got these numbers from multiple sources that I researched
This one is valid
This one is not valid, because the report says he resided in San Diego, and never identified him as an illegal.
But the reality, is once they got in the country, ICE was prohibited from from deporting them. They were processed abd released, in waht was referred to ased catch & release. They were given instructions to appear in immigraton court, but they were all no shows.
Also you ignored the numbers of those deported that you cited. I want to believe the numbers you claimed, but I never saw anything that ever reported these deportation numbers, and I believe they would be not only have been trumpted back then, but readily availabe to see today. For the vast numbers deported were really just refusals at the border before they entered the country. Once they entered the country there was no effort to find, retrieve & deport any of them. I wonder how many of those who were turned back went the other route of entering illegally gave themselves up, and were never "deported".
>>>>13 News spoke with protestor Jeanne Lukasko, and asked if he had heard the specific details surrounding the incident. While he said he hadn’t, he said he doesn’t trust what Border Patrol is saying, >>>
My DIL asked me why her same-age friends are all outraged that a guy who was trying to stop the arrest of criminals. I told her that the communist cabal (Venezuela et al) are followign the playbook described by KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov. They are demoralizing the society to the point that people are unable to see the truth even when it is right in front of their eyes. They do this by making people not know who to trust. Anybody who is trusting the MSM is demoralized; they will not believe anybody who points out the truth, even if it’s right in front of their eyeballs.
No federal agents were injured.👍

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We Don’t hear about the confrontations because the national media is the propaganda department of the Marxist Democrats and their street-thug anarchist lawbreakers.
