President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Sunday that a U.S. security guarantees document for Ukraine is “100% ready” after two days of talks involving representatives from Ukraine, the U.S. and Russia.
Speaking to journalists in Vilnius during a visit to Lithuania, Zelenskyy said Ukraine is waiting for its partners to set a signing date, after which the document would go to the U.S. Congress and Ukrainian parliament for ratification.
Zelenskyy also emphasized Ukraine’s push for European Union membership by 2027, calling it an “economic security guarantee.”
The Ukrainian leader described the talks in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, as likely the first trilateral format in “quite a long while” that included not only diplomats but military representatives from all three sides. The talks, which began on Friday and continued Saturday, were the latest aiming to end Russia’s nearly four-year full-scale invasion.

Who of course will laugh at and ignore this silly bilateral “100 percent ready” waste of time.

European countries have been waging war over their petty border disputes for hundreds of years, drawing the USA into two World Wars.
They have proven time and time again, that they don't want peace. They just want the US taxpayers to continue to fund their juvenile feuds.
Well if Putin agrees I guess your point is moot, so we will soon find out.
It really depends on what Ukraine is giving up to get this deal. I mean realistically this is probably the only way to end the war without complete take over.
If talks are taking place involving all three sides, and if they are making progress, I don’t know what some of you are complaining about.

Because all of Ukraine and every Ukrainian is not worth one drop of US Military blood.
We’re trying to rid ourselves of existential commitments overseas...not add to them.
Putin will say no. Putin wants all of the Donbass.
So there will be no deal.
If Trump is tired of the war and wants us to get out of it, he can force Europe to pick up the slack—funding and arming the Ukrainian military—let's say in six months from now.
The Europeans are not capable of building Patriot missile batteries and they no longer have the capacity to mass produce artillery shells.
So from what I see, Trump can force Zelensky to give up all of the Donbass in order for the war to end.

Russia is not going to attack if the US is policing the deal, that’s just reality. So I don’t know where you think US blood is going to be spilled.

This deal allows for Ukraine to join the EU and Western “peacekeeping” forces there.
Two conditions Putin has resolutely denied since Day One.
No way he would change his mind now and give the go ahead.
They would most definitely respond militarily to ANY NATO military force entering Ukraine.

Bilateral means between TWO sides. Trilateral would mean three.
This useless bloviating is between the US and Ukraine. It really involves no one else.
You are correct, if NATO entered this war the Russians would react and take their murderous butts and go home but that’s not what we’re talking about.
This is a security guarantee agreed to by all parties. If it’s even true.
