The parents of 37-year-old Alex Pretti, the armed anti-ICE protester killed by a federal agent Saturday in Minneapolis, are scorching the Trump administration for "sickening lies" about their son.
"The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting," said Michael and Susan Pretti.
"Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs."
"He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed."
"We are heartbroken but also very angry," the parents added. "Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world."

The man was a thug. He carried a loaded weapon as a “protestor” against law enforcement officials and when confronted, in a struggle, would not give up his weapon. In self defense one of the officers shot him.

These caring parents talked to their son a few weeks about his activism. They said if he must protest he needs to stay back and not get involved. He went the other way. They were right to worry about him.
He was also a “peaceful protesters” during the Saint Floyd riots, that were mostly “peaceful”.
The central tenet of the leftist religion is love of self. As such no leftist can truly love his children. These people sacrificed their child to the revolution, why would they not lie about it to advance the cause?
