MADISON, Wis. -- Four people were arrested in connection to numerous graffiti incidents on UW-Madison's campus.
The following individuals were charged by the Dane County District Attorney's Office:
Zebulun Fazel, 24, Madison
Genevieve Karamanski, 22, Madison
Kareem Mayouf, 26, Madison
William Wambles, 20, Madison
None of the individuals charged are affiliated with UW-Madison.
Police said the charges follow a year-long investigation into their involvement in at least eight separate graffiti cases on campus. The incidents occurred on the Southwest Commuter Path, East Campus Mall, Bascom Hall, Library Mall, Witte Hall, and Camp Randall Stadium. The incidents at Library Mall and Bascom Hall on September 12, 2025, caused the most extensive damage.
The total cost of damage from these incidents is estimated to exceed $10,000.
As part of the investigation, UWPD executed a search warrant at the residence of some of the suspects last week. Evidence related to the graffiti incidents was recovered, along with two handguns and an AR-15.
Additional charges may be requested by UWPD as an investigation continues. Anyone with information about the incidents is urged to contact UWPD at 608-264-2677.
Police said in addition, UWPD investigators are working closely with investigators from other neighboring police departments, as the suspects may be connected to several additional graffiti incidents off campus.

“””Zebulun Fazel and Kareem Mayouf, sound like candidates for deportation.”””
Damn Norwegians at it again. UFFDA
I’m a little surprised woke admin at UW Madison are arresting people for graffiti
Isn’t that just “street art” or “different modalities of expression for minority views?”
I love that name, William Wambles.
Kinda like Wyoming — counter with “Why not?”
That;s DESTRUCTION!
I love that name, William Wambles.
It is nice......chuckle.
I assume that these are students at the university? What a waste of a student visa - bringing in people who come to the US for the purposes of political agitation, not to learn, to say nothing of the fact that they're taking up a spot at the university that some kid from a small town in Wisconsin could be taking.
As another poster said, I'm surprised that the university didn't stop its police from investigating the case, since its the policy of the administration of most universities to encourage radical agitators.
Sound like staff members?
Looks like 2 candidates for deportation. A fat blue-haired theater “chick” with a bull ring in “her” nose and a soy boy undergraduate.
