It's pretty amazing how standards have fallen at Davos, the pricey Swiss ski resort turned home of the so-called big thinkers and global elites.
In other words, our betters.
Here's one of their favorites in action, according to Mediaite:
The heckler who booed Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and upended an event in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday has been unmasked, and he’s a familiar face in politics.
Lutnick was speaking at an invite-only VIP dinner event hosted by billionaire BlackRock boss Larry Fink when a heckler, now identified as climate change advocate and former Vice President Al Gore, started booing the former Cantor Fitzgerald CEO.
Gore’s reaction came after Lutnick attacked Europe in his remarks, prompting European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde to reportedly walk out of the event. [AT editor's note: Baloney. Lagarde left before the speech because she was tired, according to Charlie Gasparino].
The soiree was halted before dessert came out, Reuters reported.
In a statement to Mediaite on Wednesday, Gore confirmed he heckled Lutnick, but said he wasn’t the only one.
The event's theme was 'a spirit of dialogue,' but this had all the dialogue of a soccer match, with cheap-seats razzing, and hooligans aplenty. Seems even a private invitation-only hoity-toity dinner is not exactly a classy event anymore. Even Congress is a politer place, given the harrumphing that followed several years ago, when a conservative legislator shouted 'you lied' to some politician who obviously lied.

Who let that boob in and why wasn't he thrown out when he couldn't behave himself around polite company? Does the Davos forum now need to employ nightclub bouncers? Why were the guests penalized through the loss of their dessert, which was unfair to them and the chefs who labored to make it, instead of just the unhousebroken Gore, with bouncers just heaving the likely drunkared up by his armpits and throwing him face-down into the snow to dry out?
Lutnick, by the way, reportedly responded to bad behavior from Gore with aplomb.
The world’s top whores can be found in Davos this week.
Gore looks horrible and mean. He looks very unhealthy and still harbors hate for those he disagrees with.
Al still seems to have a lot of pent up anger... maybe he needs his chakra released. ;-)
Didn’t his daddy make the cash in coal mining?
Gore has made hundreds of millions of dollars from this globull warming BS and he’s still pushing this nonsense.
Owl Gore, attention whore.
Gore, one of the most successful grifters of all time.
Say Al, how your wife?
“The soiree was halted before dessert came out.”
The Horror, those poor little lambs.
The commerce dept. looks like one we can defund and delete from our lives. Probably would save us taxpayers BILLIONS.
As for the Al Gore, I swear these folks are way to uppity for us to care about them. Just leave us little folks ALONE. k BYE
The debunked, lying blowhard Al Gore.
Is that his face or ass in that pic?
Sigh. Like an old soap opera, the beat goes on.
Yeah, and the biggest ho get away...
Gore can’t stand that he’s outlived his 15 minutes of fame. And to make things worse for him, most people only remember his for his “hanging chad” whining in FL.
I haven’t seen it reported in decades. Does Gore get involved/like/respect/have dinner with either Clinton, ever?
That’s what they get for letting just anyone in. Al Gore is proof that the Democrats have no standards but double standards, since it’s A-OK with Democrats to challenge elections and act all “insurrectiony” if you’re a perpetually grifting, cheating, criminal-minded Democrat.
