Newly-minted Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger was compared to a 'Bond villain' after enacting far-left policies on her first day in office despite campaigning as a moderate Democrat.

Spanberger, a former Congresswoman and CIA officer, stormed to a blowout victory over sitting Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears in a momentum boost for Democrats.

However, many conservatives have been horrified by some of Spanberger's first week executive orders, which includes reducing cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Spanberger campaigned on the order.

I live in Spanberger's district. She has been a chameleon from day 1. She messages during every election season she is a moderate and bipartisan. Then when she goes to Washington, she was a reliable voter for whatever the Democratic House leadership wanted. She pulled off the same bait-and-switch to become governor.

Hopefully the ruin takes long enough so I can make it for the next years before retirement and I can get out of dodge.

Virginia is taking a big leap to join the Turd states like New York, Illinois, Minnesota, and California.

This was entirely predictable with libtards from the Northeast, I am a native NYer, moving here. Add on open borders with sections of NoVa looking like Delhi or Mexico City.

There are rumblings Spanberger is going to make a White House run in 2028. Virginia has a one limit term for governor. Looks like the two sitting Senators are going to be there for a long time.

President Donald Trump did not issue a formal endorsement of Winsome Earle-Sears in her Virginia gubernatorial race, despite earlier indications he might and expressing general support for the Republican candidate against Democrat Abigail Spanberger.

He praised the Republican ticket but didn’t name Earle-Sears in key rallies, leaving her without his direct endorsement in the final stretch of the campaign.
