Lawmakers have taken the next step toward holding Bill and Hillary Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with a subpoena to testify in the congressional Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
The Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee voted to send the effort to the full House for a vote. House Speaker Mike Johnson, who supports holding the Clintons in contempt, has committed to having the chamber vote on the resolutions.
Some Democrats joined with Republicans in voting to hold the former president in contempt. The vote to hold the former secretary of state in contempt was also bipartisan. But fewer Democrats supported that move, with some arguing she should be allowed to submit written testimony or should not have faced a subpoena for testimony in the first place. Ultimately, however, it was moot as Republicans had the votes to send both to the full House.

, the House Oversight Committee has just voted to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress for ignoring a committee subpoena to give a deposition re: the Epstein investigation. Vote was 34-8 w/ two present. 9 Dems voted w/ GOP. Committee also voted to hold Hillary Clinton in contempt.
The resolutions will now to go the House for a full contempt of Congress vote. If the House passes those resolutions with a simple majority, it will be referred to DOJ for potential criminal prosecution.

Their con is the subpoena is “unenforceable” so they can trash it and go on with their lives.

Minnesota Court Victory:
A liberal judge in Minnesota tried to handcuff ICE agents who are enforcing the Nation’s immigration laws and responding to obstructive and violent interference from agitators.
The 8th Circuit just granted an administrative stay HALTING these restrictions, which were designed to undermine federal law enforcement.
This DOJ will protect federal law enforcement agents from criminals in the streets AND activist judges in the courtroom.

There is a higher price to pay for the two tiered system of US justice than just a midterm loss. We could lose our system.

The Clintons are no longer relevant. Dems in congress can throw them under the bus without getting pushback from their base. Then they can virtue signal about being “bipartisan” should they take back congress and start issuing subpoenas against Republicans.
