Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States of America, and all NATO Nations. Based upon this understanding, I will not be imposing the Tariffs that were scheduled to go into effect on February 1st. Additional discussions are being held concerning The Golden Dome as it pertains to Greenland. Further information will be made available as discussions progress. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and various others, as needed, will be responsible for the negotiations — They will report directly to me. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
DONALD J. TRUMP PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Oh my, made an offer that they could not refuse?
Unexpected!!
A few weeks ago, I watched a documentary about Bill Parcells, and during an interview he said something about his approach to coaching, and it occured to me, this is exactly what Trump is doing.
Parcells said, “Creating the turmoil, gets the attention to where you want to get it.”
And this is exactly what Trump does.
my guess, he never wanted greenland, he wanted NATO to pay for the greenland portion of golden dome.
If Trump pulls this off, I’m going to buy a nice rock hammer and start on Mt. Rushmore for him.
“””Looks like, as many here predicted, Trump’s blustering was part of his negotiation process. “””
It’s how he does it. He does it over and over and the “news” people still haven’t figured it out.
He’s now working out the details of getting Mexico to pay for it!
“my guess, he never wanted greenland, he wanted NATO to pay for the greenland portion of golden dome.”
Been praising POTUS 4D Chess on this issue
Gets what he wants.
Pays Zero.
America is in a better place
The MAGA way.
Or, the blustering accomplished nothing other than to make us look bad, and we’ll end up getting the exact same thing we could have gotten anyway.
So the threat of tariffs worked?
Trump knows that if Russia or China gets control of Greenland its game over. Trump wants to build an Iron Dome in Greenland so that if Russia were to ever send missiles to the US it would be intercepted.
TACO Tuesday comes a day late.
Well, that was the last thing I expected to hear out of Davos. Usually, nothing good comes out of Davos.
They dominated the second half of the game, and went on a winning run to the playoffs that season. After winning a big game either in the playoffs or late in the regular season, one of the players got revenge on Parcells right on the sideline by dumping the contents of the Gatorade bucket over his head.
And that’s how the “Gatorade bath” tradition in sports began.
I hope they pay more than they did to build the fence.
The Story
The Problem: Before a game against the Rams, Parcells felt Lawrence Taylor (LT) was struggling with Rams tackle Irv Pankey.
The Tactic: Parcells placed a plane ticket to New Orleans in LT’s locker, implying that Pat Swilling, the Saints’ star linebacker, could handle Pankey, effectively benching LT for that matchup.
The Reaction: This infuriated LT, who felt disrespected and challenged, leading him to play with extreme intensity.
The Result: LT had a signature, dominant performance in that game, showcasing Parcells’ ability to get the best out of his star player through psychological warfare.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Thank you, that’s a fun anecdote.
