President Donald Trump has endorsed a Republican representative in Louisiana to challenge GOP Senator Bill Cassidy, who has vowed to fight for his place in the Senate.
Writing on Truth Social, the president threw his weight behind Julia Letlow, who currently represents Louisiana's 5th congressional district.

Cassidy is one of the last surviving Impeachment Traitors.
Hope this azz hole gets hammered!!
“I am confident I will win.”
Of course he will say that. He will not win.

“I would like to see Cassidy defeated. Are there no Republican men left in Louisiana?”
Why?
“I know Julia well, have seen her tested at the highest and most difficult levels, and she is a TOTAL WINNER!”
Julia Letlow isn’t much better than Bill Cassidy. Why didn’t Trump endorse John Fleming?
Fleming will win.
Bingo.
There are already at least 2 good candidates splitting the anti Cassidy primary vote. Letlow’s voting record in the House is as squishy as Cassidys is in the Senate.
Fleming is a much better choice. Splitting the anti Cassidy vote further is stupid.
