Of course, it’s a Biden-appointed judge. For now, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will be hamstrung in how they respond to deranged leftist protesters who harass, assault, and, in the case of Renee Nicole Good, 37, accelerate their vehicles into federal agents.

That January 7 shooting has led to mayhem in the city that’s run amok with violent protesters and a local political leadership that’s insane and inept. Local police are not assisting because federal law enforcement is besieged daily, so let’s make it harder for the federal government to do its job. We’re dealing with insane people, from top to bottom (via Politico):
A federal judge on Friday barred federal agents in Minneapolis from arresting peaceful protesters, or using nonlethal munitions and crowd control tools against them.
The 80-page ruling by U.S. District Judge Kate Menendez, a Biden appointee who sits in Minneapolis, lands amid an increasingly confrontational dynamic between the Trump administration and Minnesota officials who have accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents of stoking fear and violence on local streets. And it comes a week after an ICE agent fatally shot Renee Good.
Menendez’s order bars Homeland Security and ICE officials involved in Operation Metro Surge from “using pepper-spray or similar nonlethal munitions and crowd dispersal tools against persons who are engaging in peaceful and unobstructive protest activity.” The judge also prohibited federal agents from stopping vehicles following them, as long as those vehicles are maintaining a safe and “appropriate” distance.
So, it’s the Insurrection Act, it is, and, yes, I’m sure this little judge will be angry. Ignore her.
Side Note: It might not matter since "peaceful" is the keyword here, but you know this is setting the stage for every kooky liberal commentator and legal analyst to make a 'this is fascism' rant.

That’s the sad truth.
Every dang one of these wacky judges is female, as are most of the shrieking anti-ICE protesters (except for the guy with the snow shovel). The feminization of everything continues apace.

Exactly! They need to document a peaceful protest when it’s occurring and then additional documentation the minute it turns violent. Let them sue the feds if they disagree with the docs.

He asked: “Where were the men who could think rationally and stop the women from this?” As if women are ditzy, stupid, dangerous fools.
Tonight he said Trump has the decision—invoke the Insurrection Act or look like a weak man who didn’t stop the oncoming rioting to go into a killing phase by the rioters feeling enabled and confident.

The MSN news online report on the judge’s ruling said the unrest “which surged after the ICE agent killed a woman who was leaving the area in her car” and this created chaos in the city. Sheesh.
Ha. Even at night, though, the light of burning cars and trash fires illuminate the area so they can look for peaceful mob members.
Supposedly the women voters are uncomfortable voting for the GOP if the fighting in the streets goes on. So we are supposed to wait for the millions of criminal illegals to die of old age on their own. But don’t try to arrest or deport them. Not mindfully calm enough when they see it on TV news.
Speaking of tear gas - why doesn’t ICE use some???
WHAT is that lame ass orange stuff they are spraying directly in the faces of some enemy combatants?
It hardly seems to make a difference.
I use some tear gas bought off of Amazon for $9.99 that I use when walking my dog as protection in case an aggressive stray dog comes round.
I guarantee you my cheap stuff will drop an agitator right fast.
He has to do these things because if the Democrats return to power in 2029 with their finances and networks intact, we will face a crackdown on conservatives that resemble what happened after Castro's rise to power.

I often wonder if Trump had invoked the Insurrection Act in 2020, would he have overcome The Steal?
Is Trump making the same mistake now as he did back when Portland, Kenosha, Seattle, etc. were rioting?
