President Donald Trump on Thursday introduced the Great Healthcare Plan, a comprehensive healthcare plan to lower drug prices and health insurance premiums, hold big insurance companies accountable, and increase price transparency
The president’s plan would stop sending billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded subsidy payments to health insurers and instead send them directly to the American people to purchase a health insurance plan that aligns more with their choice.

Trump’s plan would also end kickbacks paid by pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) to large brokerage middleman that “deceptively raise the cost of health insurance.”
On the other side, healthcare providers that accept Medicare or Medicaid must post pricing in their place of business and ensure insurance companies are complying with price transparency requirements.
There is no problem which Government can not make worse.

To me price transparency is not listing what the doctor charges for a procedure but what the total cost is. I want to know what the doctor charges, what the lab charges, what the hospital charges, what the radiologist charges, what the anesthesiologist charges. What is my total cost? Do not surprise me with 15 different bills I knew nothing about.
Great marketing name as well. No self aggrandizing like 'Obama Care' or 'Biden Care'

Give the tax payers back THEIR money and let them buy whatever Healthcare insurance they want to..stop handing the billionaire insurance companies money that they may or may not spend on the people.

IMHO, this is what Trump should have led off with. It’s probably too late now to make any impact on the mid-terms.
If he is paying for it...
There’s no plan. It’s just a bullet point outline of what Trump wants Congress to do.
All of the proposals will require Congressional approval. How many people here really think anything like that is possible now in an election year?
