PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - The Department of Justice announced criminal charges against the man who was shot by Border Patrol in Portland, Oregon last week.
The DOJ said Monday that Luis Nino-Moncada was charged with aggravated assault of a federal officer with a deadly or dangerous weapon and depredation of federal property in excess of $1,000.
The Border Patrol-involved shooting happened after 2 p.m. on Jan. 8.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in federal court, agents were targeting Yorlenys Zambrano-Contreras at the time. Documents state she was arrested by Border Patrol three years ago in Texas and never checked back in with immigration authorities.
The documents said six Border Patrol agents in four unmarked vehicles conducted a targeted stop in the parking lot of Adventist Health Primary Care on a red Toyota Tacoma known to be associated with Zambrano-Contreras.
Nino-Moncada was identified as the driver of the car and Zambrano-Contreras was identified as the passenger.
Court documents state that when agents identified themselves as law enforcement and asked the two to exit the truck, Nino-Moncada placed his vehicle in reverse and hit the unoccupied Border Patrol car. He then continued forward and reverse multiple times.

Seems like a pretty good reason for ICE to stay.
The Oregon DNC makes good money off the cartels.
He would have faced state charges, but it’s not illegal to attack or kill anybody related directly, indirectly or even tangentially to DJT . . .
Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be prosecuted.
Meanwhile, Portland Chief of Police is sobbing himself to sleep in his pillow at night as ICE removes the criminals in his City,

“Meanwhile, Portland Chief of Police is sobbing himself to sleep in his pillow at night as ICE removes the criminals in his City,”
Did ICE arrest his boyfriend?
The police chief told the truth and was on the side of ICE.
Maybe he was emotional because he knew he’d lose his job.
He probably will lose his job like the other Oregon cop who said ICE was justified in shooting in MN.

Oregon cops don’t last long if they tell the truth.

I feel bad for the cops that grew up and want to do their job in these deep blue states.
We can say that they should move to TX or Fl or AL, but it is not that easy to move your family to another state.
I live in NH, which is a great place to live and work.
It may not be the best place to retire based on our real estate based tax system. However, my wife will not even consider moving to SC, NC, TN, TX, FL, AL, ID, WY, etc.
Not because she is not conservative. It is because we have family here. All within an hour of where we live now.
Economics & politics aside, it gets plenty cold enough for me at times in North Alabama.
Sign on a ranch in Nebraska:
“Trespassers will be shot.
Survivors will be shot...again!”
