Less than 24 hours after 37-year-old Renee Good was shot dead by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, two U.S. Border Patrol officers approached a van parked in Portland, Oregon. The agents ordered the two occupants out of the vehicle. They refused. The foreign nationals then allegedly tried to run down the officers, who shot and wounded the pair. They are now in federal custody and expected to survive.
Reaction was swift and predictable. The Border Patrol guys were condemned by Oregon officials almost across the board. This despite the fact that the migrants are members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang out of Venezuela and were involved in a shooting last July.

Two things have to happen going forward. Federal agents must try to de-escalate confrontational situations when they can. Violence against protesters will tear the country apart. Arrest lawbreakers later.
And the Justice Department should file lawsuits against states like Minnesota and Oregon, which are in open rebellion against the federal government. Hold irresponsible governors and mayors accountable in a court of law. Shame them.
All Americans who love their country have to be saddened that it has come to this. But things will get worse unless the subversives are held accountable.

But I'm beginning to think we're past the point of lawsuits and courts.

So far only one side is shooting.
And it ain’t ours.

Rachael Maddow believes 3.5% of the population resistance will topple the current system. What will they do with the ruins?
Whereas the laws of the United States have been for some time past and now are opposed and the execution thereof obstructed in the States of South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas by combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings or by the powers vested in the marshals by law:
Now, therefore, I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, in virtue of the power in me vested by the Constitution and the laws, have thought fit to call forth, and hereby do call forth, the militia of the several States of the Union to the aggregate number of 75,000 in order to suppress said combinations and to cause the laws to be duly executed.
The details for this object will be immediately communicated to the State authorities through the War Department.
Democrat Insurrection
Democrat Treason
O’Reilly reminds me of President Buchanan after the Dred Scott decision.
Lost.
Totally lost.
Just a couple of “Oregon men”😎
I like him and miss his show.
Time to investigate those Oregon officials. The fact that it was Tren De Aragua was involved should have made it easily one for our side. To me it makes those Oregon officials subject to investigation & very possible prosecution. What’s wrong with those people? Do they think this Tren De Aragua bunch is some kind of breakfast club?
Ol' Bill still has things bass-akward I see...
I watched a little bit of Jesse Watters on Fox last night and he showed the Portland police chief crying. This incident is likely why this clown put on that pathetic show.
Another cucks opinion that adds up to bupkis.
Another low-T soy boy that probably promoted to get him off the streets before he got hurt. Kind of like that Art Acevedo (I pronounce it Assevedo) who chief in Austin, Houston, and Miami and screwed up each city.
Deescalation only works when the bad guys back down. It’s hard to talk down somebody who thinks they’re right, and it’s their divine mission to crush the “fascists”. You’re asking for reasonable behavior from unreasonable, irrational people.

“Ours” as in the Federal government or the paid for Antifa-protestors? The paid protestors are throwing objects, beating on cars, spitting on, blocking traffic, vandalizing buildings and businesses. The govt is just enforcing the law or trying to anyway. Personally I’d like to see them taze any protestor who does any of the above, cuff them and haul them in.
“That doesn’t work with lunatics and psychopaths.”
That is correct.
O’Reilly writes, “Violence against protesters will tear the country apart.”
But these are not protesters; they are anarchists who are using violence to provoke more violence for the sake of violence.
These people were generally LARPers so the damage they could do is limited but at the time I recognized that the core group of Antifa and BLM operatives were forming a strong, experienced leadership cadre that could be used to lead riots conducted by far more violent and muscular illegal aliens
This was back in 2020 before Biden imported 12 million illegal aliens, several hundred thousand of whom have violent Marxist revolutionary, violent criminal, terrorist or jihadi background. Some of the illegals who came in under Biden are actual foreign military sleeper agents and potential saboteurs .
Heck Biden and the Democrats let in over 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans ( all countries with active violent cartels, FARC type revolutionary cells and outright professional military too send here) were paroled into the U.S. under this U.S. sponsor-based program by late 2024, allowing temporary entry. That does not include the got always that crossed the border covertly If the Democrats can mobilize these illegals and hook them up with the trained Antifa we could be in trouble
Sorry, Bill. Waiting to find the lawbreakers is futile. The idea that ICE should seek out and investigate the rebels while the illegal aliens drift away is unconscionable.
Catching the reprobates in the act of their transgressions is the only way to impede the insurrection.
Yes, the confrontations will escalate and be nasty, but the idea of letting these "protestors" leave to continue their behavior will embellish lawlessness, not deter it.
