Iran warned President Donald Trump on Sunday that any U.S. attack would lead to Tehran striking back against Israel and regional U.S. military bases as "legitimate targets", Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf told parliament.
Israel is on high alert for the possibility of a U.S. intervention to support a nationwide protest movement in Iran, sources said.

Trump’s “America First” agenda to protect American families, balances deterrence with diplomacy. Israel undermines the US tends by favoring pre-emptive military action using US tax-paid weaponry. Israel inveigled the US to join its military campaign in June 2025, but the US initially rejected the request for direct involvement in Israeli offensive operations.
Israel later conducted its own strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities using US tax-paid weaponry.
The US did conduct its own independent strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites in June 2025, an operation President Trump described.......reading from an Israeli-written script as being in “collective self-defense of our ally, Israel”......... and to eliminate Iran’s nuclear program a key component of Netanyahu’s Israel-First agenda.
