Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on the phone Saturday morning with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, The New York Times reports, citing three unnamed sources.
They are said to have discussed the major anti-regime protests in Iran, the situation in Syria, and efforts for a peace deal in Gaza.
The report also says US President Donald Trump is “seriously considering” authorizing a strike on Iran amid an internet blackout imposed by the Islamic Republic and reports of a brutal, deadly crackdown on demonstrators.
No final decision has been made, the report stresses, adding that a range of options has been presented to Trump…

Lindsay Graham claims “Help is on the way” for Iran.
If true, this is one instance where I lean towards Graham’s opinion...
Those ‘peaceful protesters’ in Iran killing cops and burning down buildings.

Netanyahu and Trump support violence I keep scratching my head about the POTUS wanting the Nobel Peace Prize.
Of course it was OK for the ICE agent to kill the driver of the ‘weaponized’ car in Minneapolis but the weapons are real and deadly in Iran justifying the authorities use of deadly force.
You are on the wrong site. Thiscommie indirection needs the help of put down with predeudece. I want a Pinochete. Go play with your leftist freinds.
We can support them without our military. Use economic weapons
The Revolutionary War was violence.
Some wars are worth fighting. Like shaking off murderous thugs.
We will discover that as events move forward but I think the purpose of any conflict right now is to serve the interests of a foreign power not the United States its Constitution traditional values etc. etc.
Iran is part of the Venezuela/China/Russia/Iran/Cuba/Serbia cabal that’s been stealing elections in 72 free nations around the world - including the last 20 years of Presidential, House, and Senate elections in the US. They use Smartmatic software (created to steal the referendum to keep Hugo Chavez in power in 2004) inserted into Dominion which is used in all the critical states in the US. By stealing elections they have put in puppets who have overseen Muslim and communist replacement of native Europeans and Americans, which is driving the loss of freedom everywhere.
The DOJ has the cooperation of over a dozen of the very engineers who did the thefts, and they are able to describe exactly how they did it. The cabal was not able to steal 2024 as intended because the US military blocked the Dominion servers in Belgrade, Serbia set up by a company half-owned by John Brennan.
Defeating Iran is DEFINITELY in the interest of the US. At least, if we intend to remain a Constitutional Republic.
Their enemy is Israel not the USA unless Israel is part of the USA or vice-versa.
Netanyahu already toasted to dealing with the “Iranian axis” back in September so will Trump do tricks for Bibi now that the violence-terrorism is on Iran’s streets.
How to inveigle US taxpayers-——Israeli Influence and Relentless Pressure on the US
Some reports indicate significant pressure and influence from Israeli officials. Israel’s ever-present multiple lobbies and supporters in the US (Israeli-Firsters purporting to be “Americans”) take a hard and fast “Israel-First” warmongering stance.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has consistently made dismantling Iran’s nuclear program Israel’s central foreign policy focus, challenging the US’ diplomatic efforts like the 2015 nuclear deal. Some sources suggest Israel’s actions to benefit itself have “forcibly thrust the United States into Israel’s longed-for war”.
Trump’s “America First” agenda to protect American families, balances deterrence with diplomacy. Israel undermines the US tends by favoring pre-emptive military action using US tax-paid weaponry. Israel inveigled the US to join its military campaign in June 2025, but the US initially rejected the request for direct involvement in Israeli offensive operations.
Israel later conducted its own strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities using US tax-paid weaponry.
The US did conduct its own independent strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites in June 2025, an operation President Trump described.......reading from an Israeli-written script as being in “collective self-defense of our ally, Israel”......... and to eliminate Iran’s nuclear program a key component of Netanyahu’s Israel-First agenda.
.
The US usually acts in alignment with its own perceived national security interests, but the extent to which these actions are a direct result of Israeli pressure versus independent US policy remain all too visible as an ironbound “Israel-only” benefit.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has consistently made dismantling Iran’s nuclear program Israel’s central foreign policy focus.
Kind of like Iran’s central foreign policy focus is to destroy Israel with a nuke.
If someone points an unloaded gun at you, you don’t wait until he finishes loading his gun before you clock him.
Netanyahu and Trump support violence.
How so?
‘weaponized’ car?
It sounds like you don’t think that a car can be used as a weapon with deadly results. I guess ICE officer Ross should’ve let her drag his body for blocks underneath her unreal and undeadly car.
Graham's lips are just sewn straight to his ass. He would do gay porn with him if Bibi demanded it.
The matter was resolved but police in Iran have died by the dozens in the riots are they not entitled to kill in self-defense?
I just told you that they are stealing elections all over the world, including in the US. I don’t know if they are stealing Israeli elections too, but I do know they are stealing US elections. That makes them our business, without Israel involved at all.
And to them the US is the Great Satan and Israel the Little Satan.
I'm still not understanding your correlation between police in the U.S. and police in Iran.
