Renee Nicole Good, who was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis on Jan. 7, was at least the 15th person fired upon by immigration officials in President Donald Trump's second term.
Now, a shooting in Portland, Oregon, by Customs and Border Patrol on Thursday marks the 16th shooting incident by federal immigration officials. Two were injured.
Those 16 shooting incidents have resulted in four deaths — including Good — and at least seven injuries, according to a Get the Facts Data Team analysis of data collected by The Trace.
In another 15 incidents, federal immigration agents held people at gunpoint but didn't shoot. Fourteen times immigration agents have fired nonlethal weapons — including tasers, rubber bullets and pepper balls — at people.
These numbers are likely an undercount, according to The Trace, as not all shootings are publicly reported.
Three of the four deadly shootings by immigration officials have occurred in the past month. Immigration officials include agents from ICE, Customs and Border Protection and Homeland Security.
On New Year's Eve, an off-duty ICE official shot and killed a man who witnesses say was firing a rifle into the air in celebration. The Department of Homeland Security has said the off-duty agent responded to an active shooter situation.
On Dec. 11, a Border Patrol agent fatally shot a Mexican citizen who federal authorities say was fleeing capture. About a month earlier, an immigration agent shot and killed a 38-year-old from Mexico during a traffic stop after the man resisted arrest and dragged an officer with his car.
Others have been killed during the Trump administration's immigration enforcement crackdown beyond the four killed by guns.

For all the work they are doing, seems like a very low number. Compare that to just one weekend of violence in Chicago. Think they’re doing very well, considering.
Scanned the entire article and didn’t see a single word about how many times ICE has been shot at or dragged or run over or rammed.

When violence is threatened against said agents, these things happen. Does this website track how often liberals in media and politics have made verbal threats against ICE agents and border patrol agents?

Also, a rock, brick, plastic bottle with ice and other hard objects thrown at an ICE vehicle. Once the window is broken the occupant gets hit by the object. Could kill them.
Or ones thrown down from the overpass onto the highway where police were standing.
Those can and do cause deaths around the country.
Many cities had to put up curved chain link fencing due to punk kids throwing cement chunks or rocks onto freeway vehicles under an overpass.
Hits the windshield, smashes into the face or body, the driver and/or passenger dies and possibly someone in the crashes around the uncontrolled vehicle.
And how many times have they been fired upon, or don’t you want that known?

If you listen to liberals talk, it’s clear they have no critical thinking skills. The Vietnam war protesters, from which these liberals are descended, by comparison sounded eloquent. I suspect that fifty years of indoctrination in a school system entirely staffed by liberals is the direct cause of the inability to think logically.
Well they should NOT be attacking ICE officers..if these blue state governors would have just allowed ICE to go into the jails and get the criminal aliens out none of this would be necessary
Exactly. for 650K legal deportees and another 2 million self-deportions, I'd say that's quite a low cost in conflict/violence.
Now let's quadruple those deportation numbers.
OK, I’ll play: Insurrectionists have given federal law enforcement no less than 16 instances to merit deadly force.
I would say that is a low number considering they are prioritizing the gang bangers, murderers, rapists, etc.

The revisionist history was that Kent State was an American tragedy and Nixon was to blame.
The truth was, it was a monumental case of FAFO. Americans in 1970 were tired of hippie mayhem. The Kent State massacre largely ended the Vietnam protest movement.
Two years later the nation would rally around President Nixon and re-elect him in one of the greatest landslide victories in American history.
Americans were not outraged by Kent State and they did not punish President Nixon over it. They were sick and tired of hippies and student protestors. And they're tired of this.
