The Virginia man arrested and charged with placing pipe bombs outside of the Republican and Democratic National Committees the night before the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol told investigators in a lengthy confession that he wasn't targeting the joint session of Congress that was convening to certify former President Joe Biden's election win, according to a new court filing.
In a multiple-hour interview with authorities following his Dec. 4 arrest, Brian Cole allegedly admitted his actions in placing the pipe bombs after initially denying any involvement, prosecutors said.

How did Ray Epps know in advance there were to be bombs planted? Epps said he came to Washington to protect his son from the bomb. Who helped the pipe bomber plan this task? Who was the pipe bomber speaking with on his cell phone? Why is the FBI suddenly clueless when it comes to cell phone data?

Ray Epps Sr. was so concerned about major violence or terrorism in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, that he showed his son and a friend how to use a tourniquet in case of a bomb explosion or other disaster, according to FBI records obtained by The Epoch Times.
During an interview with two FBI agents in Utah, Epps’s son—James Ray Epps Jr., 38—said the sobering talk from his father came as the trio was preparing to head to the Ellipse to hear President Donald Trump speak on Jan. 6, 2021.
“‘There’s gonna be a lot of people there. And there’s going to be people that want to hurt people,’” Epps Jr. quoted his father saying. “‘If there’s people that want to hurt people, there’s going to be people that get hurt.
“‘If there’s something that happens, you guys need to know that you need to help each other,’ and he grabs the gauze and he’s, you know, he’s a military man, and he pulled out the tourniquets and says, ‘I want to show you guys how to use this if something happens, you got to help other people.’”
Epps Jr. recounted that conversation in a 40-minute FBI interview on April 13, 2021, according to an audio recording of the meeting obtained by The Epoch Times.
The recording is part of a collection of Epps-related material obtained by the newspaper, including FBI interview summaries, FBI audio recordings, transcripts, videos, and photographs.
Epps Sr., 61, has been at the center of a storm of controversy and speculation since June 2021, when Revolver News profiled him as a provocateur who encouraged people to go into the Capitol.
He was never arrested or charged.
His photo was originally No. 16 on the FBI Jan. 6, 2021, most-wanted page but was later scrubbed from the site without explanation.
Records obtained by The Epoch Times show that Epps Sr. believed there would be a bomb attack on a side street of Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, which prompted him to bring a first-aid kit when he traveled to the city from Arizona.

What led Ray Epps to believe there would be people there on Jan. 6 wanting to hurt people? The people wanting to hurt people were not the Trump supporters. How did Ray Epps know there would be a bomb planted on a side street? We still do not know who Epps was associating with, right?
He initially hired a retired FBI agent named John Blischak as an attorney after he started getting heat, before the media fell all over themselves to “clear” him.
Amazing isn’t it? The family is saying he is borderline retarded, and autistic, and had no interest in politics. YET, he managed to drive himself to DC, one of the most surveilled cities in the world, completely undetected, and manage to plant two cartoonish looking bombs by two buildings where a sitting VP was, and the VP elect was.
BUT, a 70 year old woman who walked across the capitol lawn was hunted down and found with a single cell phone ping and thrown in a gulag sans trial for years.
