A little boy in Texas was the only member of his family to survive a horrific car crash caused by an alleged drunk driver.

Nearly all members of the Contreras family were killed in Fort Bend around 2am on December 20, while driving home from a Christmas party, according to the Fort Bend Sheriff's Office.

Here locally we had a wrong-way driver enter the interstate and crash into a young recently married couple. This happened just after midnight on Sunday. The husband was killed instantly. Yesterday, the wife and her unborn baby passed away.

The wrong-way driver was also killed. It hasn’t been confirmed but I believe the at fault driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Doubly tragic right here at Christmas.

If the 3-year old is fortunate enough to move into stable a substitute-care family, at that young age he should quickly rebound into a good life, hopefully.
