George Conway, the former conservative lawyer-turned-ardent critic of President Donald Trump, has filed paperwork to run for Congress in New York City as a Democrat, a source close to Conway confirmed.
While he hasn’t formally launched a congressional bid or commented on it publicly, new paperwork filed Monday with the Federal Election Commission shows Conway plans to run in the crowded primary in the 12th Congressional District. Democrat Jerry Nadler, who currently represents the district, isn’t seeking re-election.
“George is a seasoned fighter against Trump and Trumpism, and he’s considering taking that fight to Congress. Today, he filed paperwork that is a prerequisite to run. He will have more to say in the new year after the holidays,” the source close to Conway said. […]

Good luck, Jorge. Does anyone really like or respect a traitor? Conway wasn’t just some kind of lukewarm nominal Republican... He was a strident “movement” conservative. If he got politics so wrong in the past, why should anyone believe him now?
I would be funny if some troublemaker hired an actress to wear a wig and clothing just like George’s ex wife Kellyanne Conway. She would follow George from campaign speech to campaign speech, waving at him, acting foolish and just distracting enough to make him lose his temper and yell at her. She might even be wearing a MAGA Hat once in a while.

I’m of the understanding that Conway currently lives in New Jersey. He’ll have to move to New York State if he wants to run for Nadler’s seat, like Hillary moved to Chappaqua to run for U.S. Senate from New York State.
