LACEY, Wash. — A commercial truck driver was arrested at the scene of a six-car pileup crash that involved a school bus in Lacey on Thursday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the driver of a semi-truck that was hauling cars slammed into the back of the school bus just after 7:00 a.m. on I-5 near Martin Road.
Troopers said the driver of the semi did not have a commercial driver’s license, insurance, or a valid medical card.
“In this situation, there is a lot of negligence involved,” said Trooper Kameron Watts. “We actually dispatched some commercial vehicle enforcement officers to the scene to do a full-blown inspection of the truck itself and the paperwork all semi-truck drivers are supposed to have on them.”

To get a CDL medical card, you need a DOT physical from a certified medical examiner listed on the FMCSA National Registry, proving you're healthy for driving commercial vehicles (GVW > 10k lbs, 15+ passengers, hazmat).
You must bring records, pass exams (vision, hearing, urine), get the Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC), and submit it to your state's DMV to keep your CDL valid; it's usually good for up to 24 months.

No, the cause was a guy who was illegally driving a commercial vehicle. And, probably because of immigration status, wasn’t arrested and charged with multiple crimes and traffic violations. And, since there was no mention in the article, there doesn’t seem to be an investigation of the company that hired and paid him.
These Democrat run governments put the value of getting those illegal votes over, quite literally in this case, the lives of our children. But hey, as long as Ferguson is in charge, all is good . . .
Whoever hired this guy needs to be criminally charged. We have laws against this sort of hiring. Employers should be held responsible. That will stop most of this.
Stricker and more severe laws for punishment to include employers. Wrist slaps are not a deterrent.
The company who hired him should be investigated for hiring him.
