DOHA, Qatar (AP) — With the remains of one hostage still in Gaza, the first phase of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas is nearly complete, after a two-month process plagued by delays and finger-pointing.
Now, the key players — including Israel, the Palestinian militant Hamas group, the United States and a diverse list of international parties — are to move to a far more complicated second phase that could reshape the Middle East.
U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan — which was approved by the U.N. Security Council — lays out an ambitious vision for ending Hamas’ rule of Gaza.
If successful, it would see the rebuilding of a demilitarized Gaza under international supervision, normalized relations between Israel and the Arab world and a possible pathway to Palestinian independence.
But if the deal stalls, Gaza could be trapped in an unstable limbo for years to come, with Hamas remaining in control of parts of the territory, Israel’s army enforcing an open-ended occupation and its residents stuck homeless, unemployed, unable to travel abroad and dependent on international aid to stay alive.

The next step is to kill every single member of hamas, men women and children, when that’s done, talk peace with the last sane person left in gaza {if any}.
The worst and most recklessly (or intentionally) dangerous idea in ages would be to allow foreign military in there. Beware!!

Disagree with the content all you like, but its an objectively dumb thing to shoot the messenger.
Hamass knows that IDF won’t do anything until they get their last body back. When that happens, carpet bombing comes to mind.
Are you saying Israel won’t honor the Trump ceasefire once they get Ran Gvili’s remains back, or is that just what you would do if it were up to you?
I hope you don't believe that PBS and other HBM outlets are "objective".
Don’t forget the 70% of gazans who repeatedly elected hamas animals into power. Many were videoed celebrating and participating in the Oct7 murders.
My preference is the Roman solution for the Carthaginians. Raze the area so that no two stones are touching. Leave no one alive in the area (Rome enslaved the women and children but that is not acceptable nowadays unless you are Moslem).
My point for thinking people is to not blindly trust ANYTHING from PBS, CBS, NBC, etc. at face value.
