Europe Is 'Moving in Some Bad Directions' — Trump

Donald Trump voiced concern about the current political track taken by EU countries

WASHINGTON, December 9. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump criticized the fine imposed by the European Commission on X and warned that Europe is "moving in some bad directions."

Asked about the fine at a meeting with representatives of the agricultural industry at the White House, Trump called Brussels' decision "nasty" and added: "I don't think it's right. Europe has to be very careful."

He voiced concern about the current political track taken by EU countries. "We want to keep Europe Europe. Europe is going in some bad directions. It's very bad, very bad for the people. We don't want Europe to change so much," the president said.

On December 5, the European Commission fined X €120 million for violating EU digital regulations.

Tom Rainier, an EC representative, said at a briefing that X had violated transparency rules. According to him, this includes the presence of a fee-based blue verified user badge on the platform, which is misleading because anyone can buy it and X does not conduct sufficient verification.

What is one’s definition of ‘free speech’ in Europe is it all speech or does it exclude speech critical of the policies of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in Israel?

Is there an ulterior motive to all the talk about “free speech” in Europe?

Europe is a pain on Ukraine policy as well but I want to know who told the Europeans to get mad with Russia in the first place was it the US government through the CIA or State Department for example.

Next up we’re getting out of NATO. The EU nations are in breech of the charter. They signed a pledge to hold free and fair elections and to allow freedom of speech.

Free and fair elections doesn’t include using democratic processes to murder democratic government, which is what the AfD Nazis are doing now.

When did Trump go all in for Russia? TASS sure likes it these days.

You are repeating the rhetoric of the Left when you call the AfD Nazis. Their platform is basically the same as American conservatives: tighter control over immigration, stricter punishment of criminals, skepticism about the EU, opposition to the Green New Deal, and a free market economy.

Not at all. There’s nothing “Left” about recognizing a Neo-Nazi organization for what it is. BTW, did you know Putin funds the most Neo-Nazi groups in the entire world?

“but I want to know who told the Europeans to get mad with Russia in the first place was it the US government through the CIA or State Department for example.”

Probably no one. It was a clash of values. The Russians still protect their kids from LGBTs, have functioning churches, and don’t make their people plug-in their cars.

Simply TOO MUCH for Europeans to handle, given how brainwashed they now are.

The platform of the AfD is far from national socialism or fascism, as I stated previously. Their policies appear to be close to those of Konrad Adenauer and Ludwig Erhard, the founding fathers of post-World War II West Germany, both of whom were anti- Nazi. Emphasizing national interests, opposing open borders, favoring a free market economy, wanting tougher control on crime, and supporting a rational energy policy are congruent with the mainstream conservatism of the William Buckley/Ronald Reagan/Rush Limbaugh variety.

As for you accusation that Putin is behind the AfD snacks of the Russia hoax used by the Democrats to derail Trump.

“Free and fair elections doesn’t include using democratic processes to murder democratic government, which is what the AfD Nazis are doing now.”

What, exactly, are the AfD Nazis doing right now, other than trying to survive as a party aligned with the same European values of past generations? Or is it their opposition to mass migration that gets under your skin?
