LONDON -- No compromise has been reached on the question of territorial control to reach a peace settlement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said following his meeting with European leaders on Monday.
"The Americans think we must look for compromises. There are difficult questions about territories. In this regard, there is no compromise for now," Zelenskyy told reporters on a plane after the meeting in London

No compromise until Zelenski is kicked out of power.
I feel bad for all the people dying.
If he agrees to cede territory he will be found with a bullet to the back of his head within 24hrs.
Azov runs the show, not Z.
Article 157
The Constitution of Ukraine shall not be amended, if the amendments foresee the abolition or restriction of human and citizen’s rights and freedoms, or if they are oriented toward the liquidation of the independence or violation of the territorial indivisibility of Ukraine.
The Constitution of Ukraine shall not be amended in conditions of martial law or a state of emergency.

Zelensky might insist that:
1. the agreement should state that it is a long-term armistice meant to preserve human life and property and that no territory is to be considered as ceded or any claim to territory relinquished,
2. Ukraine be allowed to have an unlimited number of trained military personnel of Ukrainian citizenship, artillery pieces, artillery shells, anti-aircraft guns, anti-aircraft missiles of types now in its service and future equivalents, tanks and drones of a range of less than a certain number of kilometers,
3. monetary aid from the US and EU to enable Ukraine to retain in military service its battle-hardened military personnel,
[I suggest up to $12 billion/year, up to a total of $200 billion.]
4. the Ukrainian right to buy for source country money listed weapons [Patriots, anti-aircraft weapons, artillery shells, missiles] from the US, EU and possibly the UK at prices in line with what the source entity government(s) would pay, subject to such restrictions as the law of the EU itself may impose,
[That’s a security guarantee that I think EU citizens and Americans can live with.]
5. sanctions on Russia to be removed only after a certain period of Russian good behavior.
Why on earth would Ukraine agree to give Russia extra territory for free?
Ukrainians are not surrender monkeys. These people Fight! Fight! Fight!
Thats what real men do. They protect their families.
Pushing Ukrainians to reward Russia for invading, stealing, kidnapping children by giving away EVEN MORE land is a hardcore and truly DEPRAVED idea - which only Russia and their communist friends could possibly support.
General Assembly ADOPTS resolution demanding that Russia ensure the immediate, safe and unconditional return of all Ukrainian children who have been forcibly transferred or deported

8s it your position that any country attacked by Russia should immediately surrender?
It’s war then

To the last Ukrainian !
The Constitution of Ukraine shall not be amended in conditions of martial law or a state of emergency.
That settles what must be done. The war continues until there is no Ukraine and no Ukraine constitution. They must continue to fight bravely to the last dead Ukrainian soldier to score an everlasting moral victory.
Reality must prevail. When they had the revolution to overthrow the duly elected government of Ukraine, they ignored the Constitution. Ukraine has lost the war. They can’t dictate terms.
If they want to continue fighting and dying, then let them on someone else’s dime. We are running the war using our real-time intel and satellite assets. Without it, Ukraine has had it. And even the NYT has finally exposed the corruption associated with the aid provided. Zelensky had to fire his Chief of Staff over corruption.
But to do so in exchange for nothing is just foolish, and something politically impossible to do.
My guess is the biggest impediment is foreign troops:
a) Russia says no foreign troops.
b) the Ukrainians know security guarantees without foreign troops are worthless.
“To the last Ukrainian !”

So... if America was invaded by Russia... what would you say?
“To the last American!” ? Fight! Fight! Fight! ??
Or... :
Let’s surrender to Russia, let them take our land and deport our children! ??
“Ukraine has lost the war. They can’t dictate terms.”

“8s it your position that any country attacked by Russia should immediately surrender?”
It is not immediate, it has been three years.
Apparently those areas occupied by Russia had initially voted to secede from Ukraine and were populated by mostly Russians, not Ukrainians.
But regardless, that is neither here nor there. There has been enough bloodshed, a cease fire or peace would just keep the boundaries where they currently are.
Don’t you want peace prosperity, and for the remaining populations to make globs of money instead of all killing each other?
“It is not immediate, it has been three years.”
8n the last three years Russia has lost 24% of their occupied territory.
“Apparently those areas occupied by Russia had initially voted to secede from Ukraine and were populated by mostly Russians, not Ukrainians.”
Initially? Only AFTER Russia captured them!
LOL! Those sham votes are only recognized as legit by North Korea and a few Putin propagandists here.
I understand their point. I think the U.S. should offer Oregon and Washington.
They had a better deal in Istanbul in March 2022. Boris Johnson and the U.S. killed the deal.
Linguistic map of Ukraine. The Russian speaking part of the country correlates closely with the electoral divide.
Ukraine has changed over the years.
