US may end support for Ukraine war effort, says Donald Trump Jr
The Guardian ^ | Sun 7 Dec 2025 | Patrick Wintour

Donald Trump may walk away from the Ukrainian war, the US president’s oldest son has said in comments to a Middle East conference.

In a lengthy tirade against the purpose of continued fighting in Ukraine, Donald Trump Jr also said Ukraine’s “corrupt” rich had fled their country leaving “what they believed to be the peasant class” to fight the war.

Trump Jr has no formal role inside his father’s administration, but is a key figure in the Maga movement. His intervention reflects the antipathy among some inside the Trump team towards the Ukrainian government, and comes as Trump’s negotiating team is putting pressure on Kyiv to give up territory.

Trump Jr said the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was prolonging the war because he knew he would never win an election if it ended. He said Zelenskyy was a borderline deity on the left, but argued that Ukraine was far more corrupt than Russia.

He also railed at the EU’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, saying European sanctions were not working since they had simply increased the price of oil, from which Russia could pay for its war. He described the European plan as “we are going to wait for Russia to go bankrupt – that is not a plan”.

Shame on Ukraine for trying to expell the invader and understanding the Russians far better than we do.

If the Euros picked up the tab I would have no problem with it.

But—we are just throwing good money after bad.

You must be new here. You Ukies have been doing this slime since the war began. No one here denies Ukraine has the right to defend itself. What we deny is their efforts to widen the war and drag others in. You’re just turning people against your cause with your garbage.

Shame on this country for sending billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine, along with taxpayer-funded weapons, all unaccounted-for, in order to fight yet another proxy war with Russia. Proxy wars never end in total victory for anyone. The only ones that win anything in a proxy war, are the individuals who invest in the military industrial complex. America First!! Now and Forever!! Screw Europe!! Let them fight their own battles. It’s not our war, and never was.

Maybe we can work out a trade. We get Venezuela and the Russians can have Ukraine.

Donald Trump - December 3, 2025

“You know, we’re not spending any money on the war. We’re selling to NATO. They’re paying top dollar full price for everything goes to NATO, and then NATO distributes it. NATO pays us. So we’re not. It’s not money.”

That’s the 2nd or 3rd time Trump has threatened to end support to YouCrayne.
He should just walk away.
And turn his attention to the American economy.

Who is the biggest importer of Russian oil?

Crude oil: China has bought 47% of Russia's crude exports, followed by India (38%), Turkiye (6%) and the EU (6%).

Oil products: Turkiye, the largest buyer, has purchased 26% of Russia's oil product exports, followed by China (12%), Brazil (11%) and Singapore (8%).

Shame on Ukraine for trying to expell the invader and understanding the Russians far better than we do.

Monday morning quarterbacking here, Ukraine was not a member of NATO when the Russians invaded in 2022.

So USA was not obligated to defend Ukraine.

The EU needed to do more to support Ukraine. But they were not capable of doing so because the EU had dismantled their defense industry in favor of establishing generous social welfare states.

So the Russians should have taken Kyiv. But it's likely that they will have to deal with guerrillas so it'll be impossible for the Russians to occupy Ukraine.

The Soviets (and the Americans ended up having to leave Afghanistan.

Likely a similar scenario in Ukraine if there was no Western intervention to rescue the Ukrainian government in Kyiv.

Is there a limit to the assistance the US taxpayers should be spending on the war in Ukraine? What additional sacrifices do you think we should be making to support Ukraine’s war efforts? Do you believe 100% that Zelenskyy has optimal integrity? Should the US continue to fund this war, even if the European union countries drop out? What is the number, of how many US taxpayer dollars, is enough to satisfy you?

Don Jr. is as bad as JD on Ukraine,... nuff said. As for President Trump, he blows hot and cold on Vlad vs Ukraine. I read that Steve Witkoff has tilted a bit towards Ukraine. After spending 3 days in talks here, with Ukraine representatives.

Perhaps they convinced him that Vlad always lies, that Vlad has broken every treaty and ceasefire with Ukraine.<<< Your favorite AI will lay out Dirty Vlad’s track record on this.

Why aren’t the usual suspects calling Donald Jr. a Puty Lover and accusing him of being on the Russian payroll? Of course, Hunter was giving a percentage of his ill-gotten gain from corrupt Ukrainian leadership which actually came from US taxpayers back to the “big guy”. Yet our all-knowing Zeepers still worship the corrupt ground under Hunter and the Big Guy, along with their idiotic policies.

People like the Bidens and their buddies view a conflict such as this one, as the perfect opportunity to pull in $100s of Billions of unaccounted funds into their coffers. None of this is what it seems and because of the way the reactions to this have shifted the world economic system to the point where BRICS now controls more assets and trade than G7... it is going to cost us far more than the $100s of Billions spent directly on this lunacy.

It bears repeating that if President Trump had not been cheated in the 2020 election, none of this would have happened.

Yeah... about that... the "invaders" came from within, aided by globalist Victoria Nuland of the U.S. State Department under illegitimate Pres_ent Barack Hussein Obama Soetero, when she coordinated the overthrow of the legitimate Ukrainian government.

Don’t forget the many people from Ukraine who live here. We’re paying their rent. A very nice couuple lives in our neighborhood. Could afford a brand new SUV and a trip back to Ukraine to visit relatives.
