Elon Musk Calls for the European Union to Be ‘Abolished’ and a Return of National Sovereignty
Breitbart ^ | 6 Dec 2025 | Kurt Zindulka

Tesla chief Elon Musk has called for the abolition of the European Union as a political entity and a return of national sovereignty to the continent in the wake of Brussels announcing a $140 million fine against his X social media platform for supposedly violating the bloc’s censorship law.

“The EU should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual countries, so that governments can better represent their people,” Musk wrote on his X account on Saturday morning.

It came after the unelected European Commission imposed a €120 million ($140 million) fine on X on Friday for allegedly breaching the Digital Services Act (DSA), the overarching censorship law crafted by Eurocrats in Brussels which seeks to prohibit the proliferation of content deemed to be hateful, disinformation, or harmful to “civic discourse” in Europe.

The bloc has long been at odds with X since Elon Musk took over the social media platform in 2022, even going to so far as to publicly warn Musk about conducting a live interview with then candidate Donald Trump ahead of last year’s presidential election.

The decision to fine X looks to further sour relations between Washington and Brussels, with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio writing: “The European Commission’s $140 million fine isn’t just an attack on X, it’s an attack on all American tech platforms and the American people by foreign governments. The days of censoring Americans online are over.” …

The EU is an unelected bureau of woke ideologists that run counter to everything a democratic form of government should be.

The EUSSR always proclaimed “respect for the Charter of the United Nations” in its treaties. And in turn, the UN charter was patterned after the 1936 USSR constitution—that was done by none other than Alger Hiss, who was given the job of drafting it.

One currency was quite convenient.
Would the Krauts want to become one again?

I appreciated the Trump official who said that it is crazy for the US to militarily defend the very same people who are chasing after suicidal policies and suppressing deeply held American freedoms within their own countries and now against Americans as well.

As it is right now, the EU and all the stuff we see going on in Europe to literally get rid of candidates who simply tell the truth is diametrically opposed to the whole concept of freedom. I do not consider Europe to be part of the free world at this point, so aside from trying to help the good honest people there who are loyal to their own countries, I don’t know what justification we would have to do anything to support or protect them. They are the same despots we threw off in the American Revolution. We have almost nothing in common with them any more at this point.

Europe has had its elections stolen through the Venezuela/China/Cuba/Iran/Serbia plot of using Smartmatic software in other election tabulation systems. Gary Berntsen says that Germany’s elections have been totally stolen, for instance. (Listen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8F_16dKNuk and https://rumble.com/embed/v6zv0pq/ for more info about all of this) It is a worldwide communist plot, and the immigration crap all over the world is being run through the cartels, with the specific intent to destroy freedom and usher in communism. It is working in both the US and in Europe. But it is about to break wide open.

I suspect that eventually it will be found that Covid was released by China as a way to supposedly explain how we ended up with 10 million extra “votes” counted in the 2020 US Presidential election. If so, what this means is that millions of people in countries all over the world have been deliberately killed by the Chinese in order to control US and other elections. This is what needs to be exposed - in addition to how the cartels funded by this cabal have bribed officials in the various countries to allow this to all happen. IOW, the people of Europe, US, and elsewhere need to know that their officials have literally been paid to kill many, many innocent people in their own lands. This is war, and the people leading the EU are most likely among the people bribed, because the cartels who got them elected now own them.

,,, regulations are the EU’s main output now. Member countries are hog tied by socialist ideals and crippling environmental religious dogma. When I go there I’m happy that I don’t have to change currencies when I cross borders like it was in the 80’s and early 90’s. Italy has amazing industries but the EU doesn’t make it easy for it to be at it’s best. Lots of citizens would like to have Brussels grind to a halt. There’s unrest in France and the Netherlands and Hungary is increasingly at odds with EU policies that go head to head with their beliefs and culture. The EU is a construct that never really worked out well.

The EU should have focused on economics.

Originally, it was founded as the European Coal and Steel Community.

I guess there was a vacuum in the aftermath of WWII and obviously, they thought that Nationalism was a bad thing.

The EU is a corrupt marxist regime and like the Soviets before it, it is trying to spread its pernicious globalist ideology - especially into the United States.

I wish Elon would remind President Trump that he promised during his 2024 campaign prior to getting elected to abolish the Department of Education - all that is left is for the administration to ask Congress to pass an abolish bill.

This is a promise that can be kept - which is not kept yet.

Let’s focus on the U.S. more. Europe can deal with Europe’s problems.

Europe is a problem. There does have to be a balance between domestic and foreign concerns, or else our enemies get to strengthen themselves.

And executive departments usually require acts of Congress to be abolished if they were created by such acts, IINM.

It's a gosh damn shame that President Trump and Elon Musk had a falling out.
I realize that Musk has mental problems. However, President Trump could have
handled it better.

they thought that Nationalism was a bad thing.

,,, I suppose they looked east and knew two things could come from there - sunrise and tanks. You walk throough the streets of Paris and you see the cobblestone streets that eighty years ago had German troopers and military vehicles on them. Clubbing together under a united EU construct was understandable and even admirable until Communists worked their way into the Brussels rules industry. It's been hijacked over the decades. I saw this on FR a week or so ago... "you can vote your way into socialism but you'll have to shoot your way out of it."

And in the end, that might be the worst thing about Hitler, is that he forever made Nationalism a bad thing.

But the thing is, Hitler was no Nationalist. He wanted a unified Europe, he didn’t respect other nations, as a true nationalist would.

LOL. The Europeans have no idea what coal and steel is. They can't even spell it.
However to their credit, they do make a wicked good bowl of Müesli.   /sarc

All their manly genes were wiped out by 19th and 20th Century wars.

In Communist Poland, they sure did. There coal miners were celebrated as heroes, they made even more than doctors.

,,, yeah, Hitler's liebenstraum [living space] ideal was unapologetically expansionist.

As for your observations of Moscow's metro stations, I've never been there but YOUtube clips show they're absolute art.
