This season offers a glimpse into how human-amplified climate change could influence tropical activity in the coming decades. They start with the conclusion. And then hammer it. "Human-caused". "Human-amplified". There is no science here. It's just politics.

"Climate Change" Results in Fewer Hurricanes.
They like to have it both ways so they can point at something and simply say: "Climate Change causes that."

"...the storms that do form are likely to be more intense, according to climate scientists..." No doubt they base this on the increased monetary sums deemed lost due to hurricane damage, deliberately ignoring the fact that more people than ever before habitate in these areas, and the cost of everything goes up each year.
The Rubes are the low-hanging fruit for them.

Now they'll say hurricanes are good, and that global warming is reducing the number of hurricanes. Hurricanes are part of the natural cycle and if they went away we would have drought in many of the Appalachian states.
Like most things, what they say contains some fact, but it is so surrounded by a body guard of pure nonsense that it can be hard to find.
