The suspect in the shooting of two National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday reportedly had his asylum application approved by the Trump administration earlier this year, according to CNN.
“What we know is that he comes here from Afghanistan. Now, this is a guy who’s been living in Washington state, not Washington, D.C. On the other end of the country,” reported CNN Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst, John Miller:

Application was made under Biden. Internet would have you believe Trump went into the office and personally signed his approval application in April when Trump was in office for like 3 months

Melugin reported that the suspect’s “permission to be in the U.S. expired in September of this year, and he is now in the country illegally.”

Trump didn’t look at his papers and neither did Biden. It’s ludicrous to suggest this.
The issue should be where the process broke down and why, once he was here. There are two dead good American soldiers, and we should endeavor to not let it happen again. Let’s all be adults.
