The Telegraph has published a draft of the European “peace plan” for Ukraine — an alternative to the U.S. proposal. It includes 24 points, and many of them look tougher in Kyiv’s favor compared to the American version.
Key points:
🔵 Full ceasefire and international monitoring (U.S. + Europe, satellites, drones, on-the-ground inspections).
🔵 Russia must return all deported Ukrainian children and all detained civilians.
🔵 Exchange of all prisoners of war under the “all for all” formula.
🔵 Ukraine receives legally binding security guarantees from the U.S. — effectively a version of Article 5.
🔵 No restrictions on the Ukrainian Armed Forces or the defense industry.
🔵 Ukraine retains the right to invite allied troops and choose its own weapons.
🔵 EU membership is guaranteed. NATO membership depends on Alliance consensus, but the door remains open.
🔵 Ukraine regains control over the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the Kakhovka Dam, obtains free navigation on the Dnipro, and control over the Kinburn Spit.
🔵 Territorial issues are discussed only after a full ceasefire and from the current line of control — no forced concessions.
🔵 Russia must pay reparations using its frozen sovereign assets.
🔵 Sanctions on Russia may be eased partially and gradually, with an instant snapback mechanism.

You talk like Russia is not selling its Gold Bars because it needs the money. Like Russia is not calling up thousands of reservists because Putin loses about 1,000 everyday off the battle field. You talk like Russia has a Black Sea Fleet. You talk like Russia is exporting oil instead of importing because of the refineries being attacked. And on and on...
As my grandma would say, "that and a nickel will get you on the subway".
This war has been going on for nigh three year! WGAS whose peace plan it is as long as it works?! Of course Putin is not going to agree to it so it’s all useless.
Let the EU/UK throw their money down Zelensky’s grifter toilet.
US taxpayers are DONE with them all.
Their war is not our war.
They’ve had several chances to agree to peace and shit on the chances each time.
They could always raise money by selling all the assets of their queens, kings and princes.
Peace talks only start when both sides are willing to come to the table. And stop shooting.
A cease-fire is the first step. I doubt that either side will abide by a cease-fire. What a travesty of human life on both sides. No one will “win” this conflict. Such a waste of life for nothing.
I pray that this will end, and pray for the lost.
Europe’s Deep States and Russia can flap their gums all they want.

Russia will "win" this conflict.
And they have already paid too much for what they are going to "win". Another such victory and they will be undone.
But America needs to get out of this and attend to other matters of greater importance. Like our conflicts with China.
Both sides must be punished for carbon dioxide releases.
I’m pretty sure Russia is willing and able to keep fighting for another couple of years.
They’ll just pursue their political objectives via other means.

Russia is calling the shots and peace will be on their terms. Everything right now from Europe, NATO and Trump is just hot air. Europe and NATO have no ability to take on Russia, they have no ground forces to speak of. Or the technology that Russia has with its missiles and such.
Europe since 1945 has spent all their monies on Socialism and Socialized Medicine and spent nothing on Defense, they depended on the U.S. entirely. At this point we don’t have the military we had 60 years ago or even in 1990.
You want to fight Russia then reinstitute the Draft and maybe we can be ready in about 10 years.
That proposal is DOA right now.

It’s HYSTERICAL to see the Neocons and Europeans DEMAND RUSSIA SURRENDER (when Russia is kicking ass on the battlefield), and then bitch about Russia not wanting to surrender and using that twisted ‘rationale’ to claim that Russia doesn’t want peace.
